Ideas for facebook apps

I bought a tool that can help to make facebook aps go viral but the key question is what kind of facebook apps grab the attention and are not too difficult to create

usually controversial, eye-catching or provocative stuff works

or a teaser where the app highlights an interesting video/image/article but in order for the person to see more they must get the app

quizzes if designed well are good too and polls work too i think

so does anyone know how to make these apps or does anyone have ideas for facebook apps that work as I may be way off in this because I am new to it all

    "how to make those apps" is a huge question... You can pick up books of 800 pages on how to create such apps and you would only touch the surface of Facebook apps.

    "ideas for such apps" is also a bad question... That's like asking for a business idea...

    Quizzes aren't a bad idea at all. There is a social network/dating site called "okcupid" that was based entirely around quizzes when it first started.

      I can guarantee you that there is indeed people selling access to some app creator thing, where if you just got a somewhat good idea on how to use the tool. Your app will go viral.

      OP: I don't know which viral app creator you are with, but some kind of controversial idea is always awesome. I would suggest content locking for monetizing.

    This is really a open question as some Warriors have pointed out.
    Some simple ideas are questionnaire apps or IQ apps and guessing apps.
    You could make a puzzle and show maybe 1/10 of the puzzle and people choose what is showing from a list of things. The result is then posted on their walls and their friends invited to try to beat their score.
    Always think of ways to make your app viral to get more people to take part.
