Does wordpress allow...

hello everyone, i got a problem...i found a niche i want to enter but i dont want to buy hosting...so i decided to use a blog,or buy a domain and use the blog as host...also i was thinking of wordpress...but...my question is this: does wordpress allows me to make a pre-sales page? so i can make like a review of the product...some pictures etc...i want it small anyway..and if possible to add an opt-in form and an order button that will take them to the merchants sales page.


EDIT: Or the same things but for blogspot!

    There are several companies that give you free hosting with the purchase of a domain. Check um' out.

    And then just use a self-hosted WP site and you don't have to worry.

      WordPress.com doesn't. Hosting is really inexpensive now. That's one of the perks of hosting your own WP. You can do whatever you want.

          I've seen many people with opt-in forms on their blogspot blogs.

          Blogspot is getting pretty flexible these days, and in my opinion there's nothing wrong with using them as a free option if you're really strapped for cash, or simply just want to test something out without getting a domain.

          So I say go for it!

            I'd advise against this. You don't want to use free hosting for your blog. Because when you do you are always at the mercy of that company's TOS (Terms of Service), whereas if you got your own hosting you wouldn't have that problem.

            Wordpress will not allow affiliate links. You can try... but eventually your blog will get flagged and shut down. Just save yourself the trouble, pony up the cash and get paid hosting.

            If you can't afford $70-something for a year of good hosting, then opt for less desirable hosting plans with a company like Godaddy. You can get a year of hosting with them for around $36. It will be limited in email abilities and won't have cpanel, but it is cheap.

            Your best bet for hosting is HostMonster. They have the best customer support and best hosting plan available. Unlimited bandwidth, email, subdomains, cpanel, etc. for only $6.95 per month, and it includes a free domain with hosting.

            Can't afford it now? Save up the money and pay for it. It will be worth it in the long run.

              I had the same idea once upon a time.

              I used blogger and all my hard work was for nothing.

              They shut me down.
