Would you pay for this?

I'm thinking of setting up skype consultations and am interested to know if you would pay for say a 1 or 2 hour skpe consultation on IMing and how much you'd be willing to pay? Or would you prefer to be part of an interview type scenario where an invited expert on say "Viral marketing" answers live or pre-interview questions or even does live make overs picking you or someone else in the audience? How much would you pay?

Just Pick a IM topic that's nagging you and place a min and max price tag next to it, I do know QUALITY will determine how much you're willing to part with, lets just assume it's top notch quality from top notch experts, and they will completely solve your challenge(s) during the skype call, how much would you be willing to part with for the the topic(s) you list-- yes you may list more than one topic. ANY input is greatly appreciated in advance.

Thanks.

Kunle

I would pay for 1 on 1 Skype consultations for 1-2 hours if the value of the consultation was there, as well as the service.

If anything, I would get consultation on how to improve my web design skills. I want to design websites using Flash, so I'm teaching myself pretty much with Youtube videos, ebooks, etc...

      And it's a headache...

Thanks Pavon, I feel your pain. Warrior Chris Farell (that could be with a double r) made some videos on web site building not sure flash is included, search for him and check them out. You'll get there much smoother with a good teacher and it won't cost you nearly as much man hours.

        Thanks again for your response!

        • I do believe that some people would pay for 1-2 hours with someone they really trusted and someone who had a good reputation and a lot of knowledge.

However, for my money I'd rather just read a detailed ebook on the subject I was trying to learn about.

True the ebook wouldn't be specific to me but I'd always have it to look over and continue to learn from.

          That's just me though.

Well, if its guaranteed quality as you state above I could see paying $50 - $100 a call.

So much of this would rest on the quality and credibility of the expert we would be talking to.

People will pay for anything if they are convinced of the value of it.

That's your job, the marketing. Do that right and you can charge nearly anything you want for any kind of service, within reason =)
