Ideas for a new site- Please help

I want to create a new site, what type of site would you think could be succesful nowadays? (apart from blogs,classifieds,forums,q&a, bookmarks and directories).

Any recommendation?

    The main thing you may to want to look at are websites that offer some type of service that makes peoples lives easier and to help them free up their time.

    For example, if you have any skills in internet marketing, you may be able to offer these skills to others and help them to free up their time by doing certain tasks for them.

    When you can help internet marketers save time you are going to find that you could be very successful.

    Of course this could be based around anything that you are good at, it doesn't have to be about internet marketing. If you know how to play the guitar, you could offer video guitar lessons through your website and create a monthly membership for it.

    The sky is the limit when it comes to different ways to make money online, but make sure it is something you are good at and enjoy.

    If you are looking for something simple, fun related websites are always bingo. Something where you will add simple games, funny you tube videos, jokes etc...

    What sort of budget do you have in mind to get it going?

      I know that, but I already have those types of sites, I'm looking for something new

    You just need to find something that you can become the GO TO place for info on that subject.

    Position yourself has an expert on it (you can become an expert by studying and researching hard or you can try to bluff it!).

    You just need to find a subject that is a small to medium niche and you know something about it and enjoy writing about it (you may have to write something every day to keep your visitors loyal) and then try and own it - become the number one destination for people searching for that subject.

    I have been looking for the above for years but still have not found something........

    It sounds like your tired of making the same types of websites and want to try something new.

    Why not try developing a product? Whether that be a wordpress theme, plug in, software, or a game, etc.

    Or you can make a business style web site where you offer a service. It's up to you whether you decide to do the work offered in the service yourself, or outsource it.
