Making money with just 1,000 leads?

Hey guys,

For the past few months I managed to grow my list to up to 1,000+. I've heard and read a lot about the list and how that is where you can monetize and make the most money of.

I was just wondering about how possible is it with just 1,000 leads.

Would love hear to about your success stories or experience.

Thanks

There is nothing impossible in the world of IM, mate. Even if you only have 100 leads, you can always make some money. Moreover, if your leads are high quality and highly targeted, you can always offer them something that might interest them.

Try it, make an action, don't just wondering it.

You can make money from a list with only 10 people! I've done it!

Basically, the stats are in your favor. Give them something helpful and interesting & you should see sales every time you mail them

I have to agree with hoedha, if the leads you have are very targeted and highly motivated, you will find that you will be able to make a lot of money by simply offering them high quality products that they are interested in.

I made more money with a small 2,000 person list than most Americans made at their 9 to 5 jobs. If you have a list of folks that respect your words, you can really make a huge impact on your bank account, regardless of the list size.

as brian says, the list size has nothing to do with it

it`s all about how well your list know you and how much they trust your word

    Some say,
"Money is in the list... " and others say,
"Money is in the realtionship with that list!"
Start building a rapport with ur list and give lots of value, make urself available on skype and social media, give and create more value, e.g. tips n useful reports, then you'll see what I mean...

    Hi,

Often people think that the money is in the huge list, I personally know several marketers have a huge list but they don't get even 2%CTR.

Money is not in the list but money is in the RELATIONSHIP you build with your audience.

You're better off having a larger number of smaller but
more focused lists rather than one big general list.

Segment your lists by topic area and subscriber
      behavior whenever practical.

A list of 1,000 is fine provided that you know how to
treat them and can sell effectively via e-mail.

Plus, make sure that you have a solid back-end to
your sales funnel so that you can maximize the value
your deliver and receive from your customers.

      Dedicated to mutual success,

      Shaun

    Thanks guys.

Well I should think the relationship with my list is pretty good for now.

I offer an email series. What surprised me from the start was that readers actually replied to me!

I put in time and effort to reply every single one who write in.

I think that's pretty cool for a start. Any other way I can engage?

      Alden,

If I was you (and I'm not because I can't do all the cool Bboy moves), I'd find out one of the main things the people like and I'd start focusing in that information on the blog, then I'd write an eBook going into even more detail. But that's just me.

Like Shaun said, it would be really good if your list is segmented. I only have 90 subscribers on my list and I can make a good money from it.

You can make money with your list if your subscribers are targeted and responsive.
Just find a converting offer in your niche.

There's alot of good insights in here.

The only thing I have to add is... It depends on how you acquired the leads.

If they are all buyers, then the more money they spent to join the list, the more valuable they are to you.

If they are freebie leads, then they will be less valuable to you, but you can still do well with freebie leads.

Test and tweak test and tweak.

In my offline business, I can close once every 5-10 leads. I usually turn customers down. So it depends what you're selling and who the 1,000 are.

Just read a thread earlier about a warrior who had a list of 482k people and was stil asking how to build relationships with the subscribers so it proves that size doesn't matter when it comes to list building, quality beats quantity everytime.

Responsive list with a solid back-end and your well on your way.

Wow, $100 per subscriber on an average? That's a great amount - almost an insane amount. How long did it take you? How did you grow this kind of a list?

It took me 6 months from the time I realized I should actually mail things that make money not just content. I grew it via solo's. Basically, I had a small group of guys I worked closely with in a masterminded and we helped each other instead of focusing solely on ourselves.

Depends on how you collect the 1,000 leads.

You can make 0 sales with the 1,000 leads

    or

You can make 1,000 sales with the 1,000 leads

Last week one of my colleagues emailed me all exited... "Dude, I just made 15k from my list of only 800 people!" I was like wow man, that's freakin awesome! "How many uniques did you get" I asked...

He said something like 130 people hit the sales page... and he showed me the page, some of the worst copy ever but still got a 7.7 conversion rate on a $1500.00 offer.

So why such good results? He has an excellent relationship with his list and it was a very focused offer.

You can make money from a 1,000 subscriber list if you have a relationship with them. Then promote quality products and you would make a really good income. Use that money and reinvest it in solo ads to grow your list and your income.

For 1,000 leads that you have acquired, you should have made a few sales already. What does the style and content in your autoresponder messages look like? You should give us the inside scoop of things if you want good help.

But if you want some fast cash from your 1,000 leads list... offer a 50% discount on your product, and send out a broadcast email to your list.
