I have been seeing those "free blog install" of course I know the catch is to sign up with a hosting site before they will installed it for me.

I now see some site closing on that saying that they have "too many request"

I am wondering if this is a "switch and bait" or illegal or what ?

thanks..

If I'm understanding your correctly, it' just a scam to get more money out of you. This is an example of why it's important to host stuff on your own domain and hosting -- so that you are in control of your content, traffic, and ultimately, your money. Without control over content, you have no business.

I don't think it much of a problem to go to a business site and tell them hey I can set up blog for you. They can hire me monthly base to run it however..
the problem I see with this is here a "free blog" but you need to buy something from me and it hosting. then I install it for them then leave them in the dust if there any problems with the wordpress.

I don't see why that would be a scam. They are offering their services at no cost to you. You have to get hosting anyway so you use their affiliate link and that's how they get "paid". You get your blog installed for nothing and everyone is happy.

Of course, most hosting has Fantastico or SimpleScripts that allows you to install a blog with the click of a button, so I assume the service has some value add, like a premium template or some premium plugins they have developer licenses for.

I don't see why it seems suspicious that they would close because of too many requests -there are only so many hours in a day, therefore they can only install so many blogs.

some people makes money from selling hosting accounts and some are really giving free installation service which doesn't require any money.

Lee has hit the nail on the head.

The only reason it would be a scam is if they got you to sign up for web hosting via their affiliate link and then didn't install the blog.
