Can someone who is NOT from Ireland check this blogspot page.

I want to make a dot com blogspot page, but since i'm from Ireland it is coming up as dot ie.

So now i'm not sure if i should post the .ie or .com link when it is set up.

Can someone please check the below two and tell me what happens:

This is the .ie version, does it work and/or change to .com for you?
Blog

This is the .com version, does it just work normally or not for you?
Blog

Thanks.

    I'm based in the UK.

Your first .ie link shows up as a .ie site.

The second .com link shows up as a .co.uk site:

    warrior-forum-test-blog.blogspot.co.uk/

Regardless, I would NOT recommend using blogspot or
WordPress.com to create a site as it's outside of your
    control.

Instead, install WordPress on your own domain then you
have 100% control of your business asset.

I agree, but what i am creating is an intermediate or middle page between my youtube video (promoting a clickbank product) and the actual hop link itself. It's only an experiment.
I do have wordpress installed on my other "real" websites as they are of course much better as you were saying.

The .ie stayed as .ie for me.

But the .com redirected to .com.au (I'm in Australia).... interesting.

        Thanks for the replies.

So basically the .ie extenion (TLD) link stays as .ie irrespective of where the clicker is based, but when i change the .ie to .com the extension changes appropriately for the clickers location.

I will always post the .com in that case.

Yeah definitely looks that way - the .com came up as .com for me in the US. Definitely interesting and something for others using blogspot to consider.

First as .ie, and second as .com here.
Maybe it's because of my ISP, but it took about 20 seconds to open the first one.

Yes, it came up .ca from Canada.

Interesting feature. Create .com blogspots and your blogs will look 'local' to all visitors.
