Where did my post go?

I'm new here, and I read the sticky for Noobs - I'm a filmmaker who is interested in marketing a movie I produced - I'm using Distrify to allow online streaming and Kunaki for DVD sales. Where should I post the details of this? I've set Distrify up so that anyone who shares the link to my video will get $1 for every sale - so I thought this would be a great forum for this...

Advertise on the Warrior Forum Classified Ads section of the forum, you are not allowed to advertise in this section, I hope this helps.

      Strata,

I think you missed this rule when you read them through.

      5. If your thread is deleted, do not re-post it. Do not post a thread asking why it was deleted. Read the rules, watch how things are done here, and figure it out. This is not complicated stuff.
I'm not trying to be snarky or anything, just wanted you to be aware of this in case this thread disappears too.

      I wish you well.

I read that post earlier today.

I think you made your mistake in going to lengths explaining the benefits of Distrify, to the extent it sounded more like a promotion for the distribution company than a search for people to promote your movie.

On top of that, posting for affiliates should go in the JV section, not the main forum. You could also post in the Classifieds, as Tony mentioned, or maybe in the Looking to Hire section.

I'm sure your motives were in the right place, but if this place with over a half million registered members was opened up for everyone looking for affiliates, there would be no more discussion.
