Mailing list question - not specific enough?

Please ignore my ignorance as I am new to the mailing list market. I've created a mailing list for people who want to create cool Facebook covers.

This is my first mailing list and I'm averaging about 10 subscriptions a day.

But could I profit from this list?

firstly you should be trying to get your prospects onto a buyers list

basically someone that ends up buying your product

you need to have an email follow up sequence for your buyers list and for your propect list

also i would be using a OTO (one time offer too)

because if your OTO converts at 10% and your getting 10 opt ins a day then you are already losing 1 sale per day based on your current traffic (as long as it`s targeted)

once you start to build your buyers list you can then start to integrate more expensive products into your funnel and send people deeper into your sales funnel. This does take time but it`s a business after all

If you are offering a CB product as an OTO, how do you track who buys in order to get them onto your buyers list?

Also, is there a way to export all buyers to a different list? I have not yet done this....

if your using a cb product then you need to offer a good bonus and then get them to send you ther receipt

this is why its not usually worth messing around, i would rather just not bother building a list if your an affiliate as its too much hassle, i would rather spend the time working on creating my own product, its far more productive

its better to have your own product, even if it`s a $2, $3, or $5 product

at least you know they have the ability to pay

as far as exporting lists, it`s not something i ever do unless i want to keep a back up of my customers on paper and in that case i will do it

So you believe that if you are only an affiliate you should not build a list?

On your lists do you ONLY promote your own products?
