I'm new to list building and I participated at a giveaway event and I got some subscribers. My optin form was set at single opt in and it had no autorepsonder messages for the duration of the event. Now the event is coming to a close.

My question is: should I now take all those subscribers that I got and move them to another one of my lists that I started that already has autoresponder messages added to it? When I do so, would the subscribers start receiving message one or would they still have to optin since the second list is set to double optin?

Or should I just add all those messages manually to the list that was specifically used only for that giveaway event?

What's your advice on this?
