Best places to sell articles

I have a whole lot of articles I've written, and am wondering where are some good reliable places to sell them?

I've heard of constant content, but It's really strict with the contents of the articles, down to the smallest thing.

I was wondering what similar sites are out there? I mean I'm happy to get paid less for my article if I don't have to resubmit it 5 times to fix the tiniest of errors.

Constant content and fivver are really the only two I know of. What other ones do you think are good?

You can also build up a reputation first on reputable blogs like technorati or so, then perhaps, it would become easier to sell your articles.

Make a Google search for the keywords that you targeted, and sell the articles to bloggers in that niche.

    This.

The reality is that it's going to be terribly difficult to sell anywhere, for reasonable amounts of money worth talking about, articles which aren't acceptable even to Constant Content (whose editorial policies really represent only "decent English").

Well, it's one approach. But please excuse the observation that in the long run, a far more viable and profitable one is to learn to avoid the errors in the first place, and remove this great limitation on your future income. Because it really will be a great limitation. I'm suggesting this only because I know you're so easily capable of that!

      Alexa,

How did you learn this? Any recommendations that might help us with less than wonderful communication skills?

I always say it's best to be proactive in your marketing efforts rather than simply wait for other people to contact you.

What I mean by that? Sell them, put them in front of a crowd who is actively searching for new articles.

And like it was already mentioned, the best place to do it if they're of high quality, is right here on the forum.

You might even think about starting a real business out of this venture and offer a monthly membership where people can get your articles for a cheaper price or a few articles for free when they order a certain number of articles.

Have you thought about setting up a PLR store? I know it's not for some, but in terms of ROI for the effort you put into writing, it's pretty up there.

The one thing I would say though is that it takes time to establish yourself. You have to put work into marketing your store. But if you're up for creating a business around your writing, then it's a good time investment.

Oh the other thing I would say if you do choose to go down the PLR route is to start building your list... like yesterday!

    All the best.

Is PLR still viable? I've rarely come across PLR I've be happy to use and don't feel comfortable knowing there are numerous other copies out there. I think the way things are nowadays, it has to be original quality content all the way.

I'd recommend giving Constant Content a try. If your articles are rejected for errors it might give you an idea about their overall saleability.

Because you can set your own prices on CC, you can get a good income. When I get a 'sold' email from them I know I've quite often got $100 on the way. Which is nice.
