Minor Issue I have with Wordpress.

I generally like Wordpress, but I've noticed that most people with Wordpress blogs can't actually give their contributors their own log in info; guest posters seem to just get a sentence at the top saying "this is a guest post by so and so." This always looks like it's just a post by the main author at first, until you actually look at the "this is a guest post" line. I've read articles before and not known that they were guest posts until I noticed the writing style was different from that of the main author.

Is there any way to get around this?

My wp blog GodsBusinessWay.com allows others to post. I used a plugin to change the rights contributors have and made everyone who signed up for an account a contributor by default.

I then added a captcha program to help prevent spam along with a plugin to limit the size of the title. I check it for improper content, but otherwise my users are posting themselves.

you don't need plugins you can simply go to create a new user and then choose the user role as a contributor.

  You'd still have to approve the post. I tried that and got so behind I just set it up with the plug in to post automatically.
