Article marketing and the Sandbox

Ya know how people say if you add too many backlinks to your site too quickly you could enter the dreaded sandbox? Well what happens when you submit a bunch of articles to directories followed up with RSS feed submissions? You could end up with a huge amount of backlinks in a short space of time. Is that dangerous?

    Sandbox has more to do with traffic so it is possible to have a gazillion links and no traffic and never get put in the sandbox.

    Big G counts links at it's own pace. You can build a load quickly but it's up to them how many they count and when.

    A lot of people disagree and think you should build slowly and 'naturally'.

    My results show that you build as many as necessary to get ranking based on competitive analysis and then move on, only coming back when rankings are affected by new competition or your competitors fighting back...and in small non-IM niches this is rare.
