Do you outsource article writing...?

Hey!

Do you outsource article writing? I saw this question posted earlier today but I don't want to revive that thread considering it isn't entirely relevant to it. I want to communicate with some people who outsource article writing. I'm not pitching my services--at all. I just want to talk to some people about different things involving article marketing, if you have some free time PM me please!

    I've had some limited success with this. I find that I like approximately 1 in 3 of the people I hire for this task, so I usually try a few, and then get repeat work from the people that I like the best.

    Like duuhh...I cant write for jack so I outsource.

    Get cheap people to write massive amounts...dont pay like $10 for 1 article! Thats crazy and freelancers only charge that much for newbies.

    $5 is fair per 500 words.

    Should you decide to outsource your articles, it's important that they have good enough English skills. Many foreign writers tend to make basic grammar and spelling errors.

    I used to outsource but now I write my own. I find they get much better ranking on google and are better quality information wise.

    It would be nice to have a regular proof reader the check my grammar.

    I think it depends on your goals. If you want to brand yourself and your site in your niche, it's critical that you get excellent articles circulating. Reputation is everything in many niches.

    On the other hand, if you're into slapping up a bunch of MFA sites (or anything similar), I can see where $5 for 500 words would be a viable option. You don't care in that case about your rep or how good the articles are. You just want as many links to your sites as you can get, and the occasional clicker from the articles themselves.

    Personally, I can't write the crappy $5 articles. I just can't. It's not about the money, either. I just don't have the ability to ignore quality as I'm writing. It would be harder to purposefully dumb it down and write crap than to let it flow and create quality stuff. I think most ghostwriters would agree.

    I would love to have enough $ to outsource my article writing and get great content, but it's not feasible for me right now. I agree with the consensus that at $5 per article you'll get what you pay for...

    When I need a bunch of filler in a hurry, I outsource. I have been able to get articles at $6/400 words. I have to say that if I read the articles, I cannot post them without extensive editing. I really hate mediocrity and it kills me to see this trash cluttering up the blogosphere. That is why I am not a pure businessman. A pure businessman would look at the profit ratio and make a decision based on that alone. I actually care about the product even if I am selling it to someone else. Also, I have been told that some writing that I considered to be tripe was good enough for some clients. Not me, if I see it, I gotta fix it.

    If you guys choose to pay more then $5 for a 500 word article then by all means do!
    The main reason I outsource is to get things done for cheap, fast...so if someone is willing to write me a 500 word article for 1 cent and have it written properly....my friend...you will get your full 1 cent asap!

    Tell me you guys wouldnt take an offer like that and ill virtually slap you!
