1st affiliate site, Need Criticism

Hi, I just setup my 1st affiliate site, and need some criticism on it, im still in the process of promoting, but i get about 16 uniques yesterday from my forum backlinks.

Problem is google analytics says 50% spent less than 20 seconds on the site, so other than more content (which is being worked on)

what would you change?

    If I were you I'd start with making a custom design, or at least a custom header.

    There's so many blogs out there, that if you don't at least put an effort in on the design, people are instantly turned away and won't even see if you've put an effort into your content.

    thats right try to create an custom design, try looking at the websites of the perfumes you are selling and get hints from there. you are selling a lifestyle product so your site must be dynamic.

    first thing, get a better header

    I like the content, its unique if you ask me
    Add some product images or affiliate links on the left.
    Add some people shots, men and women

    number one and above all things..clean up that header it looks pretty bad
    get some images on there to highlight your articles
    take advantage of good ad space and put some affiliate links on there

      It looks like a real review site, so you are on the right track. But instead of saying:


      All fragrances available anywhere from 10-80% off retail at FragranceX.com


      Why not say:

      I found a good discount on Polo Blue HERE.


      As others have said, add more content and some other affiliate products. Lookin' good.
