Apparently I have some internal resistance of sorts to making a lot of money online. While I get excited when I find systems that generate many figures, when time comes to implement it I get uneasy, distracted, etc.

I need to make a little money first, then a lot. I need something EASY that generates $1/day.

Ideally this would be passive income, i.e. the system once it is set up it only takes a little maintenance every now and then if at all.

Ideally the steps would be IDIOT PROOF and very concrete, and cheaply outsource-able.

Ideally it would start making money (even $0.02) SOON preferably within minutes ha ha but it's OK if it's hours :p or days

I already have hosting, a few domains, AdSense on a domain (I believe that once you have an approved AdSense domain you can use it on multiple domains, is that correct?) and paypal account. I have some tech skills, but as you can tell zero IM experience.

Is there such a thing anywhere, i.e. some thread on this forum, or elsewhere, that you can please point me to? And if not, can you write the steps here please?

I just need to see some results to get past the initial internal resistance and scale it from there. Need to take it easy so I don't get scared away when I see so much money coming my way . Hope you understand.

THANK YOU!

I think fiverr might be ideal for you, for $1 a day you'd only have to have 1 gig every 5 days! Then when your reputation increases you can start doing more and more gigs, until you start earning more and more.

Yep, you can use your Adsense account on multiple domains, no problem.
And, IMHO, this is the way to go to start generating some nice passive income, i.e. to make a couple niche websites that will use Adsense to monetize your traffic.

CodeBotics, thanks, I have two fiverr gigs up (one for a few days, one for about two weeks). No sale. One has been viewed once, the other 9 times. What gigs to perform?

Fiverr wouldn't be passive income, but it would be great to start anywhere. How do you choose which gig to offer?

WittyT thanks for your input. Good to know I can use my AdSense. But I have no idea how to make a couple niche websites and get traffic to them . Virtually nobody visits my site and have made zero with adsense since it got approved about 1 month ago.

Would like to see some IDIOT PROOF steps. Thanks again!

It's complicated to explain it all in just a couple of sentences as every step is a science in and out of itself.

First, you have to choose your niche and find keywords with low competition but enough searches per month as to make it worth your while.

Then, you have to write articles (optimized) using those keywords to try and rank for them on Google.

And that's where the "fun" part begins: link building, as to ensure your pages will move up the ranks and, hopefully, reach the first page.

If you want to make money with niche sites, you have to learn about and master every step.
I suggest you start reading everything you can find on the subject... It takes some time to get it all

          hi sue,

you have a market which for example could be health and fitness, a niche would be something more targeted within that market, so lets says treadmills, thats a niche but would be probably be too broad as a way to start, you may want to narrow that down to a more targeted niche like a specific treadmill

so now you have the specific treadmill you want to promote, goto google keywords and see how many people are searching for that particular " niche " and see if its something worthwhile to pursue - theres going to be some more research involved, narrowing down the buying words, checking insight to see how its trending, the competion that already is out there, etc .. but thats a basic starting point for a niche

Try to upload your video describing what your gig is about and how it can help others and show them the benefit and get your gig shared with social network. Give it a try.

      Might help.

Have a look at the right column where it says "Request Gigs", under that you will see what people "need", find one you can complete in a timely fasion, and contact them.

Hey rosetrees, I didn't mean to offend anyone, sorry if that's the case.

Just by lurking on this forum for a few days, I saw a lot of WSOs on how to make BIG money in ways that really aren't that difficult. Making not-so-BIG money shouldn't be, IMO, difficult either. Hopefully you can see my point.

Just to clarify, I am not lazy, quite the contrary actually. And after spending A LOT of time (hundreds of hours at least, probably thousands) trying stuff, I decided that maybe I need to change my approach a bit.

In any case, thank you for taking the time to reply, I realized that perhaps I left some things out of the OP which maybe I should have put in.

      All the best!

How do you know they "aren't that difficult" - have you tried them? If they do work, then why ask about making $1 a day.

      Rose,

Love this idea but why not change the word 'EASY' to 'DIFFICULT', that would make the replies much more interesting on one of the interminable 'Please show me Easy Ways to Make Money' threads.

So if niche sites is that hard, then I think I'd rather do something else. By your description, sounds like it will take at least weeks of hard work until the site starts making any money. As I said in the OP, this is the kind of thing I'm NOT looking for, as I get distracted if time passes and I don't see results.

As I said I'd like a way to generate A LITTLE money, but easily and preferably quickly too.

Now I'm sure there must be something, some simple program to follow simple steps.

    Thanks again.

If you want easy get out of IM!!!!

You only want to make $1 a day what's the point?????

Sounds like you want the world for little or no effort at all, No such thing(unless you win the lottery)

These types of posts are pointless and make my teeth itch and the forum is littered with these types of posts....

Make a buck and then scale it up!!!
or "i've made my first dollar online after 6 months" what!!! It amazes me that anyone could be excited about making a buck after half a year of trying. I'd be embarrassed.
If you only had xxxxx amount of dollars what would you do
if you had to make xxxxx by the end of the week what would you do etc etc

The biggest reason people fail is lack of action, analysis paralysis, shiny object syndrome and giving up too easily.

Get off the forum and start taking action, think big. Not $1 but $100/$200/ $500. Think small and that's all your ever be.

take a risk, get out of your comfort zone and remember Rome wasn't built in a day. Persistence and dogged determination is key.

You only fail when you quit.

I think I agree with Zimbizees statement but I think I understand what the OP wants.

I'm very new still but when I started I was having a hard time getting traffic let alone any affiliate/adsense success. I started getting frustrated and thought about quitting and was trying to figure out why I was doing this.

Then I had a $2 day. That was all it took. I saw that it could be done and I've been at it since. Sometimes a sign of life can go a long way.

To the OP, this was not automatic. When I started I posted every day to get the ball rolling. I've backed off to twice a week now so I can work on my next project but it still, it takes work and I'm not up to $1 a day yet.

I'd say go to iWriter and sign up. After that, all you have to do is write one 300 word article. Each 300 word article is $1.62. Just one article a day can give you your goal. I've earned several thousands from iWriter alone, so I know that the site pays. The best part is that they pay weekly to your PayPal account.

    Good Luck!

I think your question is perhaps the best one I have seen in a long time. The fastest way to $20 a day is to make a $1 a day.

My first response is to ask, what is that you can do over the long haul. In other words what is it that you can do over a long period of time.

The one thing I learned is that it takes consistency to make money every single day.

Depends on your skills. Offer a service on Warriors for Hire. $20 to list. If you're good at something, you have something to sell.

But you did say preferably passive. That's not as easy without having something set up already. It takes work and time to get to the point where you have a passive income. Adsense is about the most passive revenue stream around, but you have to have sites to put it on and traffic going to the sites.

What about writing a kindle book, or better still a series of kindle books? its something I've been studying for the last week or so, and have spoken to plenty of people who are making small but passive income from just a couple of books. Whats your specialist subject/skillset?......its worth having a look into, I haven't met anyone who is killing it with kindle, (despite all the claims on the wso forum) but like I said with a small amount of work there are people making alot more than $1 a day!

Thank you all for your responses. I understand there's no such simple program available to make $1/day. Maybe I'll make a WSO myself after I get this figured out (unless someone beats me to it of course).

Fiverr might work, but as I said I'd prefer to have it more passive if at all possible, so I'll try that one first.

theemperor: As I said I have AdSense, but lack traffic.
louie: Actually I did write an eBook that I'm trying to sell through ClickBank (waiting for their approval). If it goes well I'll definitely publish it to Amazon as well. But for now I don't want to just sit on my ass 3-5 working days until ClickBank reviews it.

Just to repeat the OP: I'm looking for a step by step guide to make not $3K / day, but $1/day, preferably passive and quick. Thanks again for all your input!

Making a dollar a day is great for two reasons:

      1. Gives you confidence in making money online and that it works. Most people who are self-made rich started off earning very little or nothing and built their way up.

      2. You can discover a method that works for you and scale it up. Making 1000 * $1 a day eventually

The best thing you can do for consistent profits is building a list. I made the mistake of NOT doing this for many years, but this is a proven way to create leverage and has the potential to make a life changing income after a while.

As your list grows you will get more and more traffic and be able to leverage the power of the internet to make way more than $1 a day.

Chris, Sasa, nice one I agree

rosetrees, you have far more experience in this field than me. If you say it's difficult, perhaps then it is so. I respect your opinion which you base on field experience. However I still believe it doesn't have to be difficult. Call me naive if you want, life will wake me up if that's the case. I base my opinion on personal observation in other fields, and on generalization to this field.

Besides in the end easy and difficult are relative terms subject to subjective interpretation

    Peace!

By making money online, I assume you include making money by responding to an advert online from someone looking for a service to be performed. Someone has mentioned Fiverr already - and it's possible to find gigs on here that you can accept and then get other people on Fiverr for you at a better rate, or find work on a different website and outsource again to a site like Fiverr so you make the cream on top.

Any form of arbitrage is good because it allows you to scale up if things are working, plus you don't need to be an expert in performing whatever it is - you just need to go and buy that service in.

Seriously, why would you set a goal for $1/day?

Create and sell your own WSO. Get affiliates onboard, create a killer salespage and set a $10,000 goal. That's why I did and what I accomplished.

I have bought 100k Adsense recently and recommend it if you want to earn income via Adsense which is very much possible since the figure you stated is pretty small

If you are willing to write original articles, you will attract many people. Just set up a gig on fiverr or even better, go to iwriter.com for a faster commission - since there are a lot of articles waiting to be written there.

CodeBotics, thanks, I have two fiverr gigs up (one for a few days, one for about two weeks). No sale. One has been viewed once, the other 9 times. What gigs to perform?
Are you selling something else already being sold by tons of other fiverr sellers? If so people are more likely to go them because they have a reputation already. You'll need to drive traffic to your gig from external sources if that's the case or find something not already being offered by the masses on Fiverr.

If you only need $1 a day, I would be a virtual assistant.

You can sign up for a million different outsourcing sites, and do WHATEVER.

(Graphic design, proof reading, copywriting, article writing).

Heck, I bet you can find SOMETHING to do on Fiverr.

I had a gig offering tweets on twitter, but I was actually getting TOO MANY SALES and couldn't find a way to outsource it for cheap. (And was too lazy to automate it).

Ultimately, Fiverr is probably your best bet...

Gec, I do understand what you meant in your original post. If I am understanding correctly, then what you mean is that you tend to "float" from idea to idea and when you try something and you do not see any financial benefit within a short period of time, then you "float" to something else again and again.

I actually think a lot of people do this and that is probably a big reason why 97% of people do not make it in this business. I commend your honesty and humility in asking for help with a real problem you are facing.

Unfortunately, I do not have any advice specifically for how to make $1 per day quickly and easily. I know that for me, setting daily tasks and constant reminders of my long-term goals were what kept me going. I also feel very strongly that you MUST do a little soul searching in order to find out what you would really enjoy doing long-term (money aside). That way, when you find a true passion and you keep taking steps every day toward it, you will not get distracted so easily (because you love what you are doing) and you will not fail. Good luck and remember to have fun!

Very nice, I once created a program called 1 buck a day. I had several ways for the students to go and once they picked something they had to stay with it till they made a consistent 1.00 a day.

Then when they would ask what now, I said rinse and repeat. 200 adsense sites, 1.00 a day, pays for hosting and domain and quite a bit left over.

When I first decided to get serious, I took it as a challenge. €1/day for 7 days, then €2/day for 7 days...etc. I dedicated no less than 10 hours of each day and tried different routes proposed all across this forum (and others). I also chose not to spend a dime.

That was 3 weeks ago when I suddenly found myself bed-ridden. Making over €25 a day this week.

Try and test. Try and test. Try and test.

The WP Traffic Control WSO might have an idea that would work for you. It looks pretty cool. If you can sign up to some CPA offers or something, that plugin tells you where to get generic traffic for as little as $1 per 1000 clicks. If you then send them to general appeal offers...that's pretty simple. Maybe not EASY, but simple. lol
