Anyone Here Advertise On Niche Sites?

Say for example you have a dog training product that you sell via your website do you create banner ads and or advertise on other dog related websites?

If so how is your traffic and conversions going?

Im just wondering because I see all these people paying for solo ads and solo ad swaps but I dont see much noise in this area.

    It's maybe because it's obsolete. Google also doesn't encourage this kind of link exchange method.

      I'm not talking about any type of link exchange.

      As per the thread title, im asking specifically about advertising. You know paid ads like banners etc.

    Why dont you check how much traffic the websites are getting first and then leave a banner or form of ad on their site. This is what have been doing with my micro niches.
