Question on article directory submiss: Only anchor text is enough or everyhting should be optimized?

Everything= Title and body.

    My advice is to write for the purposes of syndication. Pop your main keyword in your title and use it once or twice naturally within the body of the article. As for the anchor text, vary it. If you are writing lots of articles for the same product, have a number of Resource Boxes and rotate them.

    Keyword density in an article. I do 1.5 to 3.0 percent, I have did this for about two years now.

    Now if you sit down and take your shoes off I will tell you a story, The year was about 1998, I would copy and past thousands of words on an html page and color the words as the background was,

    Man those were the days lol. Okay no stories.

      That's great advice, Will! Google (and the article directories) now actually penalize us for over-optimizing the articles for keywords.

      The key is to write really interesting and well-written articles.

    Yes, including in title is working out good, but should take care of the appearance of keywords inside the quality article. I hope thats enough.
