Who would you market and sell the lead too?

Hi Everyone

Just a question for my friend Carol who runs an offline event business asking to move it online and if this one method would work..

If you had a website that generated leads for events that people are interested in like Weddings, Parties, Proms etc, would you be able to sell these leads on and if yes, how would you market it?

How much would you market it for?
PPC advertising, forums, social sites etc can be methods to advertise the event site full of event information all trusted with carols connections and when the contact form is completed and sent to her, she can sell for a set amount or percentage of the order? what would you recommend?

Friendly advice would be appreciated.

Carol has a few connections through her own business and wanted to know if she had a website bringing in leads would their be a potential income for handing the customer details over to the relevant event planner company and receive money in return?

    I'd advise her to go along to a wedding fair and meet the dozens of businesses in person at each one. Just an opportunity for her to introduce herself and get some face time with them. The next day or within a few days, follow-up with each person she met with a lead or two, and a statement such as 'I get loads of leads like this all the time because of my events business - could you use these or do you know anyone else in catering who may be happy to receive these regularly as an ongoing service'.

    If her target is not exactly limited, then she should also attend corporate events, where she can meet people from different firms and experiences. They can definitely prove to be of great help to her in terms of building a client base and network.

    These will not only help her generate good leads, but also bring different opportunities of expansion to her.
