ok, back again. I just got an email from ebay which says:

Create a plain text file from a text editor and in the contents put only your activation code (provided below).
Save the file as 'ebaypartnernetworkactivation.txt'.
Upload the file to the base directory of each of your domains that you would like to register.
Example: If your website is Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More Online Shopping | eBay, your file would be located in http://www.ebay.com/ebaypartnernetworkactivation.txt.
Visit the Verification Page when your domains are ready to be validated and click on the 'Confirm Domains' button on the Domains tab.
Our system will look for the file and your unique identifier and confirm your domains appropriately.
Activation Code: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If you cannot confirm ownership of your domains, please provide a reason in the appropriate section on the Domain Confirmation Page.

Just upload it/FTP it to the root folder of your site. You will still have your WP files there, but this won't hurt anything.

PS. I like the EPN. You can be pretty sure you're giving your readers good deals and Ebay has a very wide variety of products.

I stopped it a long time ago... Didnt convert much and Ebay paid very low commissions... But that was a couple of years ago, maybe they changed.

EPN has a hybrid payment system where it uses sales and clicks for payment. You really need to send quality traffic that makes purchases for it to pay decently.

More info than "not working" is almost always a good thing.

Did you get an error message?

The most common error is you simply didn't upload it to the correct folder.

The other possible error is you aren't checking the correct URL.

Upload it to the domain in your sig. Then check this URL:

http://www.petprotector.org/ebaypartnernetworkactivation.txt

If you get an error, then you didn't upload it to the correct folder. Upload it to another folder.

lol, yes I should have been more specific. The site I am trying to upload it to is Best Pet Jobs which is a WP site, does it work with WP?

Same thing...Check this link:

http://www.bestpetjobs.com/ebaypartnernetworkactivation.txt

If you get an error, you didn't upload it to the correct folder on your website. Upload it to another folder and check the link above again. You won't hurt anything uploading to the wrong folder.

You should be able to see all your other WP files in the correct folder, including index.php, assuming WP is installed in your site's root folder.

I checked your link...You haven't uploaded it to the correct folder. Or, you didn't name the txt file correctly.

I copy/pasted the txt file name so I wouldn't get it wrong.... however I included the "" also, should I have left them out?
