Am i missing something with my IM techniques and site?

The website on my signature is the service myself and my team provide across the UK. Ive recently changed the website from dreamweaver to wordpress as dreamweaver was hard for me to use and as im pretty much new to the world of the internet wordpress is better for me and was highly recommended.

My target audience is anyone who is interested in writing a Will.
Our clients have been of all ages from young single mums early 20s to couples in their 70 re newing their Will. Also people updating their Will, going through divorcé, gettig married, had children and so on. Our market audience is quite wide and for everyone.


My question is am i missing something. I currently advertise with
  • PPC Google Adwords
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Forum Signatures

I will be writign a blog on our website about Wills and every day news and updates relevant to the niche.

Ive not started to work on SEO but i have installed the SEO tool on wordpress that i need to set up.

Am i missing something out of this plan? :confused: I am pretty much just getting started.

The website is for leads. The aim is for customers to complete the contact form and when i receive their email i contact our will writers to call them as promised within 48 hours and arrange a meeting and write their Will.

We have received quite a few contacts and successful appointments but i was hoping for more and regular.

Am i missing something off the website to encourage more people to fill in the contact form?

PPC advertising is receiving a good number of clicks but not matching up the forms we receive daily. Im not saying every click will be a customer though.

Any helpful tips and advice would be appreciated.

You may have to be brutal but constructive feedback with going forward would be helpful for IM online and getting the website perfect for everyone and all ages.

    There is no business information. No names. No address. Just a 0843 number and if you search around you find out you're in Warrington.

    So I think to myself "why would I entrust something like having my will written to a faceless presence online?"

    The next comment is time. The fact that someone has found you online means that you need to offer a faster service than call back within 48 hours. If you take their phone number in the contact form, then it's possible to call them back immediately, or at least within a much shorter space of time if you are already tied up in a meeting etc. If you need help with how to do that then PM me.

      Yes we can do quicker callback tends to be within an hour or two. Ill add this on.

    2. Are you ranking for any terms like "wills, wills UK, online wills," etc?
    3. How much business do you do offline?
    4. Did you want to add any testimonials, or a picture of yourself? Or any examples of any wills you have successfully written.

      I thought i need a call to action on the homepage so i put the form on the footer, is this incorrect? Just leave it on the contact form page?

      We have been an offline business for over five years and due to expansion decided to go online as we have will writers across the uk.

      i have testimonials on the homepage on the footer.

    Start advertising and see what type of conversion rates you get. We cannot tell the future. Marketers are like scientists that have to test to find what works. Your contact form is not above the fold which means you will get less conversion of sign ups.

      Wont the contact form be too big to have at the top of the page? Or is there a wordpress pluggin that can be placed there? I think on my template i can only have an image there.
