I received this e-mail earlier

The link contains a virus, so just be cautious of this email and any other that might be similar

I ran it through numerous checks before I posted here just to make sure.

  • This is one of the unfortunate circumstances that we face on very few occasions.

At least it is only a very minor few who try to conduct these unethical methods.

I would say that at least 99% of the people here at the warrior forum are here to help and share their knowledge and wisdom.

Thank you very much for the heads up all the best!
  • I am sure I had one of these emails a few days ago, I ignored it.

    Just as well.
  • Hi,
    Thanks for your sharing.

That's how I like this forum. Can get a lot of updated info and tips here
  • Hi,

    Thanks for your info.

  • It's always handy to keep abreast of new scams, and this should serve as a warning to everyone who hasn't quite got a grasp on things.

Never open any email attachments unless you know exactly who they have originated from, and this means taking a hard look at the senders address to make sure you know them.
  • Thanks for the warning. I don't trust strange emails. I never open them.

    • I wouldn't trust anything address to "dear warrior members". This forum does not send out promotional emails so that's a clear signal right there that something isn't right.

Also will not click on any link from an unknown person or source. To me, that's basic safety practice online.
  • Thanks for sharing, I do not open any email from unknown senders.
  • Thanks for the warning!
  • Thanks for the info! Sharing is caring
  • It is very dangerous... Thanks for sharing.... Sometime I think why people do it? I hate this type of people a lot...

    • usually some monetary gain behind it, but sometimes it's just pure vandalism. Like when kids used to go out on Halloween and throw paint balloons at cars - I never did understand that, either
  • Thanks for the warning, you are doing a great service to the forum members.
  • thanks for sharing that information
  • I think I got this as well.. Well I never open stuff like that. If it was a WSO page in here and all with comments, posts, reviews etc I would only then open it. Would never open an email or something even if it said that the owner of WF himself sent it.
  • wow that's pretty sneaky. I never open any attachments unless someone I actually know told me they were sending me something. Attachments are notorious for viruses
