Any Decent IM Giveaways?

Hey Warriors, I hope you're well!

I am just getting back in to list building after some time out. I've just done a search for Internet Marketing Giveaways & they are all outdated & crap - well the top 5 I looked at were anyways...

Does anyone know of some high quality giveaways or perhaps you'd like to share your best strategies for list building.

Regards,
-Robbie

It's a numbers game. The more giveaways you enter as a giver, the more signups you are going to get. The signups you get are going to be a large percentage of junk emails that people are never going to look at again.

But if you can do this with the idea that you are going to be starting a funnel, for prospects, then you are probably going to succeed, as opposed to thinking that you are going to get the thousands of signups that they are always talking about on the signup page.

You are going to be searching for the gems buried in the rubble. But every once in a while those gems turn out to be big old diamonds. :-)

Thanks J. That was kind of what I suspected - that its a numbers game, digging and sifting through the chaff.

        Any average numbers?

        Thanks

I don't have any average, a lot depends on who is running the giveaway and who is particpating. You can tell a lot by looking by looking at the front page where all the givers avatars are.

If you see more that are all screwed up and not resized properly, chances are the givers are all new people and don't have big lists to promote to, but if at least some of the photos are decent looking, you got a better chance overall of getting some additional subscribers.

And you can tell (ballpark anyway) how it is going to go by the number of upsells you get when you go through the signup process. The main goal of the person running the giveaway is to get email addresses and to make some sales, but you have to balance that with help to the givers.

Kind of like Google provides services but there are ads everywhere. If the number of times you as a contributor get hit up to buy something, is more than you want to deal with, chances are the people signing up are going to feel similar and your signup rate is going to go down.
