If you're a COMPLETE newbie, then I recommend you just start learning JV - joint venturing.

The other side of the equation is paid - solo ads, banner ads, PPC, WSO's, etc. I don't recommend this if you're tight on the budget.

Basically, with JV's you'll grow your business 10x faster or more than with any other strategy. Not even mentioning SEO. Really think about JV's.

Once you understand this concept, and accept it, and decide upon it, then you're all set. Just remember, don't stop hitting the first wall. Follow through and you'll be okay.

P.S. Of course, you can learn the solo ads, SEO, banners and others, but it will probably take you more than you expect or really want.

If you don't have any idea what list building is, then your best bet is to search around this forum and read the many threads discussing and explaining list building. If you think that'll take too long, Google "what is list building" and you'll get your answer

List building is sure one of the most profitable, stable and residual income if you know how to set it up properly. I'm sure you have heard of the term "the money is in the list" - check out the 2 links that Robert had pointed out, they are very useful.

Create some squeeze pages and drive traffic to them and give away good plr products free when they optin.

or even better create your own products and offer them free

you could also buy solo ads if you have buget to work with to get quicker results

I'll let others help you out with the squeeze pages and everything, that stuff is pretty simple in the big picture.

What you need to pay attention to is traffic generation. Long gone are the days where a couple of articles on ezinearticles(dot)com could build a hefty list for you.

I suggest starting paid traffic pronto. Advertise on Facebook. Depending on your niche, advertise on Bing/Yahoo and Google as well. <--- But make sure you've got a good education on how this all works out or you will get a ban hammer pretty fast.

Once you start advertising, make sure you are placing an affiliate offer on your thank you page. This is important, it helps recoup most of the cost of advertising.

Take the seed concept I've given you and spend a good 3 hours learning all about Facebook Ads and promoting affiliate offers and what a "thank you page" is. Once you've got the education, don't waste time and start advertising.

Make sure you are running paid traffic. In all honesty you'll be doing yourself a favor by learning advertising as opposed to the less stable free traffic tactics like SEO.

you need to have something of value to give away so you need to have some good skills and experience in a certain area

once you have a good free offer to give away it`s then just a case of driving targeted traffic to your squeeze page to build your list

ppc, and solo ads are good for fast traffic

otherwise forums, articles, guest posting, blogging, videos are some free methods

if your a newbie then you may struggle to get the hang of everything straight away but theres plenty of free information in the forum which will point you in the right direct if you get stuck
