Struggling To Get Opt Ins.. HELP Please

Hi

I have had my site now for 10 months and have being making changes to try increase traffic and opt ins. My site has an ok ranking and is improving but am struggling to get people to opt in.

Can I get some advice as to what I could change, add, or adjust on my site or to my site that can help this?

Any help will be appreciated.

      Yep...I went right to the "advertise" page. Your ad offers say they get 220 - 230 views per month. Is that the kind of traffic you have? If so, you can't expect much.

      How are you getting traffic? Are you running any ads?

      The quality of your traffic is more important then the quantity.

    If optins are what you are looking for, don't just count on your website or blog to bring them in. Create an optin page and drive other forms of traffic to it so you get subscribers that way.
    Your signature is a great way, but what about hosting just the optin page offering something of value as well?

    Loyd check out my blog i do pretty well with optins. See what all the top blogs are doing and follow suit.

    P.S. Your squeeze page looks real good so i do not think that is the problem.

      I agree with Lance (too many other options) and Bless (need more of a curiosity factor).

      Also, maybe 50 isn't as enticing as you think. People will expect that it won't go into much depth.

      But about the curiosity factor...

      Why not add a few bullets that tease the reader with the enticing info in the ebook?

      You may or may not use it on this page, but I'd suggest to add them on your squeeze page (once you set one up)

      And then send people to your squeeze page!

    Your ebook probably isn't something of that much interest to your target market apparently. The best way to get optins is to write and giveaway a Killer product. I mean something so good that you could have charged for it

      hooo-hummm is my response to this. Yet another "how to make money online" site. Big deal. Sorry to be so abrupt, but you asked for opinions and I'm sure if "I" say that, then there are 1,000 others saying the same thing. It's just not compelling enough. People don't want ideas and they don't even want to "make money online." They want ideas how to make money online...."without" ______ fill in the blank.

      That could be:
      "without spending a dime"
      "without spending more than 10 minutes a day"
      "without doing any work"
      "without getting divorced by their wives that think their husband is wasting time"
      "without your father-in-law telling you you're crazy"
      "anyone asking when you're going to get a real job"

      You get the idea I'm sure.
