hi all ..

I have made affiliate with ClickBank almost 2 years. various guidelines and ebooks I have purchased in the market. but they do not give success to me.

I've done a variety of techniques of article marketing, video marketing, blogs, forums and more. but still not get sales. may be due to incorrect product selection can be a factor of my failure.

hope you all can share experiences and effective techniques with me to produce my first sale on ClickBank.

Well, the best model to use for making money with Clickbank (or any network) to generate residual, affiliate income is to start a niche blog, where you have a blog on a particular niche market (dating, weight loss, cooking, video games....), and your blog consist of both product reviews and articles on topics within your niche. Having a blog also allows you to build a list, amongst other things.

When it comes to a niche, there are only a few things you need to keep in mind. The niche market you choose to go into you should profitable. Profitable niche markets have tons of products to promote, which means tons of opportunities to make money. It should also be a niche that you have an interest in and know a bit about -- makes it easier to connect with your audience and to write about.

    Good luck,
    Joey

I disagree. I dont think you need to have an interest in your niche. I made money on a babies toys site and I wasnt the slightest bit interested in them at all.

You should find products that are still being sold. If a product is outdated and the demand isn't there, you'll have a hard time promoting it.

I recommend that you find products that are hot at the moment and promote those. You can have a look at how many searches monthly the keywords are getting using the Google AdWords Keyword Tool and if the numbers are good, it's a good sign. But please note that the data may not be right, they are estimates calculated over the last 12 months.

You can also check the keywords with Google Trends to see the search trend and whether they are really hot at the moment or not.

Hi, i guess trying to keep things simple is the key, recently i went through the guide..it said
    1)choose product with gravity 15-20
2)make videos using sales page content
3)Check out videos related to your keyword which has more no. of views and use similar title and exact description of the mentioned video.
    4)Try to promote it.....
tip: No matter which method u use, just stick to it

That's good advice. And pay special attention to the last one:

      Stick to it!

I know that people keep talking about how many "hops" it takes to make a sale, but those numbers are often overly optimistic.

Sure, you can get lucky early on, but on average the numbers of people who have to see the sales page before they buy is way higher than anyone would have you believe.

The CB product that make me the most money right now also requires around 150 clicks for each sale. Once I did the math and looked how often the other ones were being clicked on, I quickly realized why the others weren't converting that well. They only had a few hundred clicks, and the above is AVERAGE.

So you could take several hundred clicks until the first sale, and then make another couple of sales fairly soon thereafter.

But if you don't get a single nibble, then you should look at related products and give those a try.

Which means, if you build a list (which you definitely should), you could then market the alternative product!

Good luck, and don't give up. But do diversify.

Ehh that's bad advice...especially the part about using the sales page content. If you're going to try thr YT review route, then you need to REVIEW THE PRODUCT! Not the sales page. You can contact the vendor and get a review copy or just buy it outright and then get the refund within the grace period. Following your advice would be a waste of time.

Perhaps poor writing would be another factor in your failure...or spinning articles and thinking those would somehow pump money into your CB account. I'm not trying to berate you but those are probably a few reasons why you havent sold anything.

I think you may have slightly misunderstood this.

It isn't actually the Customer Distribution Requirement that's caused the $1 deduction from your account: it's the dormant account charges.

These apply only to accounts which haven't seen either a sale or a purchase for over 90 days.

It's been a while since you last had a sale, apparently. They'll continue to deduct $1 from your account every 2 weeks until you make another sale or purchase (purchases start at $3).

All you need to do, to stop that from happening and reset the 90-day clock to zero, is to buy one $3 product through your own account (or have a friend or relative with a credit-card do that). You'll earn the affiliate commission on it, too. And if it's made by credit-card rather than by PayPal, that purchase itself will also satisfy the CDR for you, if you have 4 credit-card sales already, as you said in another thread. Just do that and your problems regarding both the CDR and the dormant account charges are all over.

Purchasing something yourself isn't "gaming the system" in any way, Pennyroll. It's completely legitimate. In fact it's strongly recommended: it's very difficult (and not very well advised) to try to make affiliate sales of products you don't yourself own.

It sounds to me like you are jumping all over the place  I would suggest that you stick to a method and instead of just buying a new product when that does not work, buy a traffic guide. One that will show you how to target your traffic. Then follow the first step until you understand it and have success with it. Then simply move on to the next step and so on, and so on.
If you have tried everything and failed I would say it is your inability to see something through. Not the products themselves.

On a side note. Most people seem to yell scam or this product won't work. yet these are the same people who buy 3 more in the next month. I am all for paying for products, but let's get real here. Every single WSO that comes out is not screwing with you so they can make some money. You need to apply "EVERYTHING" STEP BY STEP. That should take longer than it does for the next shinny object to hit your inbox.

    Just my thoughts
