  • This is not a bank . You dont put money and you gain intrest - then it "grows" (which actually dosent occur in a bank).

    Internet marketing is just like any other business, its not the money. Its the effort, the knowledge, the HUNGER for success and lots more.

    Would you open a resturant if you dont know and dont want to; service people, cook etc.. ?

    I suggest you invest the money in somthing you want to actually do. or invest this money in studying something.

    • All good points here, If your not whiling to work hard and dedicate yourself hang onto your $300. There are good programs out there for that kind of money and alot of success to be had. You need to want it!
  • My advice is to put your money away and read through the forum. Get a feel of whats going on. Choice something you already know or have a passion for.

    Dont go throwing away money at money making offers. Do your research and dig deep.

    I can tell you this and that but the bottom line is really what you're passionate for. Some have cars while others are into technology or sports. Whats your passion and take it from there.

    Dont just jump into IM waters if you dont know how to swim. Lots of sharks are lurking out there too. Be careful.

      In addition, there are many models to internet marketing, email marketing, Adsense, CPA etc..

      Choose one that agrees with you the most and try it out.

      Internet marketing is not about the money its about the commitment to success.

    Do you have something that you are good at? If so, then that could be your niche. As far as setting up your website, there are plenty of people that offer free website set up for a reciprocal link back to them.

    It would help if you had an idea what you wanted to do tho, but other than that, go for it!

    You want to increase your funds first. Find an offer on clickbank, peerfly etc...

    You can then get some banners, some are supplied etc.. Find a ad network that allows direct linking that is Geo Targetting. AxxAdsl.com for instance.

  • Find cheap ways to advertise effectively online. For example.... spending $60 to put an image into your Warrior Forum signature for a year is a great advertising investment.

    • The quickest way to start earning is to offer a service that others are wiling to pay for, how much you will earn depends on your skills. But even that may not be enough to live on.

      Here's the problem...
      Like you many, many people come here asking the same question when they are on their last legs financially.

      The right way to do it is to start learning, doing your own research here or other IM forums (All free) while you still have an income and can afford to feed yourself.

      Starting off when you are desperate and with little or no funds is a recipe for disaster. It could take months or even years before your online business is strong enough to support a decent lifestyle.

      That $300 is not going to last long what about next months bills?


      Advertise what Randall? The guy is starting from scratch, he knows nada, zip nothing...

  • philipsimbahan, I'm also a newbie. My advice would be just to hang around this forum and read whatever people say for a couple weeks or so, or at least a couple days. You'll get more comfortable and start "feeling" it.

    Then you can ask more specific questions. For now I'd say just start looking into what people said, CPA, PPC etc. Your way WILL be made clearer and clearer each day you spend here.

    Remember to also go out every now and then, this place is addictive .

    Put your money away and save it. You don't know enough about Internet Marketing to start a business. You don't want to write or build a site or learn to do either. Throwing money at "systems" will probably just lead to you losing your money.

    You need to just step back, start really reading the forum and learning, make a plan on your own of how you're going to make money online and then spend money to implement that plan.

    You may never see results. It's all on you. No one here can guarantee you anything.

    1. Put your money away
    2. Commit to learning ALL you can about what it is you're getting into for no less than 30 days
    3. At the end of your study period select ONE area that interests you. Yep! Boil it down to ONE and only ONE (for now).
    4. Again, commit yourself to learning ALL you can for no less than 30 days only this time you're focused on your ONE specific topic, method or area of interest.
    5. At the end of your study period THEN ask yourself "for 300 dollars how can i start my online business" You'll know the answer.
  • Spend time and research ALL you can, this is a great place to do it. Get to know how things work, what makes money, what doesn't. Something is bound to interest you. If you have no skills and can't develop them, you can outsource ANYTHING, but if you go that route, $300 isn't anywhere near what you'd need.

    You keep on asking someone to help you "how to" but you also keep on saying blogging, articles, writing is not for you.

    Others keep on telling you to "learn" but you keep rejecting. What else can we do? I already told you to "read, read, read" in another thread but you keep insisting that you are not good in writing.

    Yes, we understand and take it into consideration - that you are not good in writing... That's why you have to read and learn... Even someone help you to start, how can you maintain if you are lazy to learn? I'm sorry if my words are little bit harsh. There is no one who can help you in the long run but your self.

    All of us have weaknesses and difficulties. In order to be successful, you must try to find ways on how to overcome those weaknesses and not to avoid them, because they might be your biggest stumbling block in the future.

    I suggested you a website where you can learn everything from keyword research up to SEO but after seeing that the domain has "blog" on it, you stayed away and said "blogging is not for you". How can you say that it was about blogging when you didn't even watch the first video? Have you even watch the very first video? Even if we give you everything that we know, you can't still become what you want with such kind of attitude. Free information is more useful than paid..only that you have to focus and be motivated.

    I told you many times that there is no shortcut. I know what you are looking for and and what you want. But you want it in easiest and fastest way which is impossible to met.

    My final advice:

    Take a month or 2 of reading here and and take note some points that you think you can do. Ask you self what you can do first before asking us what we can do for you. Be more specific so that we can give specific answer. If you ask "how to make money without having a website", you'll get dozens of suggestions that can only give you a headache..... Again, ask your self what you can do, be back here and tell us what it is....
  • Well since you're starting off with $300 to spend, my personal suggestion is to invest $37 into being a War Room member here on WF. Along with the wealth of practical and useful information you can get on free parts of the forum, there's plenty of people in the War Room giving free advice and even FREE eBooks.

    Due to huge and broad field of internet marketing, I suggest that you learn about the different types of marketing and find one particular one that you like best. Once you find it, you should stick with it and focus. One of the biggest faults with a lot of internet marketers is that they jump around from idea to idea, never to get far enough with one particular method.

      Thats how I got into this IM stuff too, I was financially on my knees 'still am but made some money here and there. nothing crazy or consistant yet.
      Honestly the only method I can think of thats free is learning how to make 30 second or more in youtube videos to promote a product . you can goto clickbank.com and sign up, its free. then look for an offer you wanto promote. I personally wont focus too much on gravity, but instead see if the offer sounds intresting and if you feel you might buy it, try it out.

      For free info on how to do to do this. go on youtube and type, how to sign up to clickbank and how to find offers on there and get an affiliate link for that product. Also theres a free Site that you can use to create simple videos. You dont have to show your face, just need some images and type some words in the video. like 'are you looking for relief on 'insert problem here'. when they click on your affiliate link on the bottom it will goto the products site. if they buy ull make a sale. Also backlinks Comes AFTER making videos. or AFTER your web site is done.


      Also since you mentioned SEO a few times. it sounds like u might be intrested. theres somethings you must know. theres ON-PAGE SEO and theres OFF-PAGE SEO. On page means theres certain thing you can do On your Website or youtube video description to improve SEO.

      OFF-Page SEO are things you can do thats Not on your page/site/or youtube vid page, that involves some other Seo steps. Such as backlinking, tweeting, promoting. Thats OFF page. get the meaning of off-page and on-page?

      So where I would start is look for youtube vids on ON-PAGE SEO. So you can get a graps on that. I would also set the results in google to show from 5/2012 to now. so you dont get anything outdate, Although things change fast.

      Such as EMD 'exact match domains' no longer give you that boost. most people to be honest KNOW its not to get INSTANT PAGE 1 and stuff like that but to have a early chance at those with ages sites. Also Aged sites power reduced slightly as well before.

      Also look for videos on youtube or google on how to do keyword research in 'Google keyword tool'. If I were you, go here: https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool , sign up. 'you dont have to, but eventually you should because you will got much options and things to see.

      This is what I would start doing TODAY! since you seem intrested in SEO and backlinking stuff.

      Start with the SEO field.
      1) Learn about On page SEO, dont even look at Off page Seo yet untill you get a pretty good idea on what Onpage Seo is about.

      2) when you feel familiar with #1, then learn about Off page Seo. read about that as much as you can.

      3) MAKE SURE ITS AT LEAST FROM 5/2012 or 6/2012 to present. Also IGNORE anything you learn about EMDS 'Exact match domains' its irelivent now if they say it 'helps', it doesnt anymore. other then that no much changed. ALSO LEARN ABOUT WHY KEYWORD STUFFING IS BAD, BUT ALSO DISREGUARD 'Keyword Density', that ISSSSS a form of keyword stuffing. I would read about that but dont APPLY it. I would read of it so u know NOT to do it. Learn About LSI keywords instead!

      4) Go into the Warriors Forum SEO thread and see some questions people post that look seo related like backlinking or something Seo, or keyword related. You would know what looks like an SEO question after you get a graps on what ONpage and off page is like I mentioned on the top.

      Also I must note that you WILL learn to write a bit off stuff. Even if you outsource it, you WILL learn and HAVE to. Even if you dont write it you will end up learning it and you wont even know it yet. Because On and off page seo has....WORDS...keywords...LSI you have to TYPE things lol. but even sometimes 500 words is good. or even 300. nothing complicated. You have to except it.

      I never wanted to write and still dont , but once you learn to accept it and that its nessescary you see its not that bad and its not like writing an essay or anything like that. you just learn that its just part of the steps to getting closer to the $$$. Thats why I was so confused like you when It came to eventually having to write content on my site. I didnt know what to AVOID when writing and what to DO when writing. I just knew it was all SEO but i didnt know there were 2 KINDS of it. OFF AND ON PAGE.
      ALso there are some Courses on how to write articles Fast. I just started learning and applying/practicing on an article yesterday. the course was how to write articles in 5 minutes. on the WSO forum. but although it was ment to be used for off page seo not On page you can get an idea of how to do it for content.

      See? Instead of buying software to write my content and stuff like that or hiring writiers since I cant afford all that right now, i just looked for some writing courses and learn from that. See? Only look for what you need WHEN you need to. Not all at once! so you dont overwelm yourself and you connect the dots

      Once I discovered theres 2 types Thats when I 'LEARNED' and said to my self. 'Ok Jason so since everything starts from my site/vid description' On page is how I will learn the Do's and donts for this. When you get a graps of that my friend you can start reading about OFF-page, and APPLY wHAT You feel comfortable doing. dont RUSH!!! please my friend dont! take your time! its not a race!

      if you force for a race you wont learn or retain much, go at your pace! when you go at your pace u will LOVE it because ull be learning. 9/10 , chances are when you learn at YOUR OWN PACE you will graps and feel self rewarded. We are all hear to help. Also you WILL make some mistakes here and there. thats OK! Dont beat yourself up when it happens. instead see what went wrong and search on google for the answer (set your dates like i said so u get info thats not that outdated, IM changes fast)

      if google is still not enough and you need Direct feed back post on the forum like you already just did! We are all your family here. IM is a goldmine. We all mostly started same way. If you look at our 1st posts when we all joined ull see how we all asked similar questions and so on and as time goes on we start Answering the same questions for the next person who comes alone. I look at my old posts and im Astonished how much I learned compared when I used to just browse the forum in july2011 and when finally joined in Sept2011.

      you will have to spend some money eventually. maybe even on some courses. Later on in the future check on the warrior special offers thread. WARNING it can be addictive. eventually try one of the courses ranking sites or Seo basics or something like that.

      ALso the only free backlinks place I can think off Is SocialMonkey. I think its 25 backlinks/social bookmarks a day they submit pointing to your site. free!

      Last but not least Learn about Do's and DOnts about Backlinks. Learn how they can HELP and LEARN how it can HURT you. Learn also about SEO OVeroptimization. Remember at the end of the day its the User also who has to decide to hit the buy button, not google! Dont worry my friend , im sorry for your situation. if you need some money now and have some skills, even if its something silly! sign up with Fiverr.com and start posting Gig offers. where people will pay you $5 for what ever it is! even if you would Solve a rubiks cube for them lol
      (I can in 55seconds but after 4 months I got rusty of not doing it and can solve it in 1min30sec lol).

    From my point of view everything you don't like are skills you need to actually make money, writing, websites, and building are primary. You may be able to do something with music, video, art or graphics though, but you would need to be highly skilled to make some real money.
  • Before you do anything, you have to think about a lot of things. First of all, you need to have a niche and a plan. You got to know your target market and how to reach them. Of course, if you want to reach your target market, you have to create content and if you're not a good writer, you may need to outsource or find someone who can write for you and this costs money. So just before you jump right in on internet marketing, you have to research and find out what your business plan really is then you can move to your niche.

    You can either do what many have already said and take the time to learn and improve on those weaknesses

    Or

    You can hire someone who is strong in that area and pay them to do it for you.


    Most true business people do the second, they don't spend all their time trying to improve their weaknesses because it would take too long, and there are too many different parts of your business that a person would have to master that they wouldn't make any money.

    So instead of taking the time to learn to build websites I suggest you just hire someone to create a site for you. You can find poeple on fiverr to setup a wordpress site for $5.

    If you don't like to write, then you can go to the warrior for hire section and hire people to write for you.

    This is called leverage! When you hire someone you are leveraging their time and experience.

    and using leverage will get you to where you want to go faster

    Another way to earn through internet marketing is to build your own website. You can easily get free website templates everywhere and edit it by yourself using free software like NVU. Of course, you need to pay approximately $15 to register for a domain name which should not be a problem for you.

    However, since you have problems with writing, you might need to outsource it to other person. Free way is to ask your friends or family members for help. Otherwise, you can go visit Fiverr where all of their services are just $5.

    I would like to post my humble guide to Newbies who want to know the basic of make and sell a website from ZERO.

    If you are new to internet marketing, it is too bad that you cannot make a single cent successfully in a short time frame.There will be no one that kind enough to guide you. This is cruel but it is true.I spent a lot initiately and hoped that i would get some help from those so-called gurus. But they only showed me the things which can be easily available on internet.You need to try different methods until you find something which works for you.

    To me (since i already have experience), what i need for an start up is as follow:
    - $12/month for a unlimited domain registration webhosting.
    - $8/year for domain (i would buy a few of them, let's say 5 domains).
    - Get a freelance to write eBook or articles for your topic(s) for about $200.
    - Use free tools like Wordpress template for your website.
    - Do marketing with free methods (facebook, youtube, article submission, forum marketin etc) to get traffic and to get ranked in major search engines.
    - Spend some money for ads and backlink (about $200).
    - Link all the monetizing tools for free (Google adsense, affliates for electronic products, affiliates for physical products).

    My cost will be:
    - Webhosting: $12/month x 12 = $144
    - Domain: $8/domain x 5 domains = $40
    - Freelance articles or ebook: $200
    - Wordpress: FREE
    - Marketing with free methods: FREE
    - Ads & backlink: $200
    - Monetizing tools: FREE

    TOTAL COST: $144 + $40 + $200 + $200 = $584

    I will be spending about $584 for my business which starts from zero. It will soon up and run and generate decent income if you use the correct methods.Hint: Go to my signature.Hope this information will give you some general ideas about how much you need to spend. But it is not gurantee that newbies can do what i said.

  • Making money online is a business. Put simply a business needs something to sell (a product) and customers. Without these there is nothing. What is your product (affiliate products, digital products??) who are your customers. You should be able to answer these questions clearly to make money anywhere.

    This may seem vague but it's the only starting place. Just slapping up a website and hoping to make money will not work.

    be smart about your money, you will regret it if you spend it fast.

  • In my opinion, read forums, websites, etc. for a few weeks to know more about this topic but if you don't want to make a website, you can make money with monetizing twitter.
    Make an account, select a niche and start tweeting, get lots of followers, start monetizing.
    You don't need money to start it and if you see results and good feedbacks, you can start investing in some Twitter tools for example to get bigger.

  • Find a low competitive but high CPC keyword (using free trial market samurai and spyfu) , Purchase a domain and hosting, Outsource writing and SEO services, try harder each day to rank your keyword, once ranked, try get ranked higher! till it takes the 1st position (or 2nd if acceptable), repeat again and again, when you have 100 sites, I'll definitely become a millionaire, Cheer!
  • the first thing you need to do is to teach yourself about internet marketing. for $300 you can buy a website. This will take away all the designing and writing problem of yours. However, make sure to a thorough research on the website before buying it.

    Once you have the website you can outsource all the work to a SEO specialist( there are tons of SEOs hovering here) . you have the choice to write the content of the website or you can even outsource that as well( I can help you in that).

    Internet marketing is not a get rich overnight plan. it takes time , you have to keep that patience . if you are able to do so, then soon you will be making good money online.

  • Whatever you end up wanting to promote as an affiliate, or even create your own product eventually, make sure you test everything before hand. There are too many products out there that are flashy and seem promising and you want to jump in because they are new so you know the market is not saturated. And then there are also products that have a track record of great sales yet the market on them is saturated.

    Decide wisely, and again best to test everything you do.

    STOP EVERYTHING. TAKE TIME TO READ THIS FORUM FOR ONE MONTH FIRST BEFORE YOUR START ANYTHING.

    There are a few warriors giving nonsensical answers (how can you guys expect a newbie to understand your money-making ideas with just 3-4 lines?!?!?) and there are a few warriors who took the time and explain to Philip in details.

    But from the Philip's response I feel that he is not ready to start anything. Philip will fail right from the start.

    So, my advice is, stick around this forum for a month or so, before you decide to start on anything.

    If you don't follow this advice, just go ahead and waste your $300.

  • There's a lot of great suggestions in here, but everybody's coming from different angles based on their own experience. For example, in my experience, selling services CAN make you money, but it isn't the best kind of money to be made online by a long shot. There's a lot of potential work that goes into.

    No matter what, nothing comes easy, but I also don't agree with a few folks who are saying that money doesn't matter. In online marketing, it DEFINITELY matters. Yes, knowledge is important, but investing money can multiply your efforts. The main thing is to know WHAT to invest that money into. That's where the learning comes in. So make sure you have a strong vision and understanding of what you're investing into, and then focus on that, or else you'll be spending a lot more than $300 to get started, going from this to that like I did in the beginning and like a lot of others do.

      So....I decided that NOW WAS THE TIME to either GET A SALE or give up trying, so....I told them, "Okay Folks, is PRICE the only reason why you won't go ahead with my installation....tonight?"

      They surprised me by saying, "Yes! We think you can do a good job however, we'd like to get a competitive bid!"

      So....I took out my pen and wrote, "1/2 PRICE! TONIGHT ONLY!"

      Whamo Bamo! My heart started beating faster...I started to sweat. It was like Time Had Stopped. Then...after what seemed like HOURS later, the Dentist hands me back the proposal and say, "OK! Let's do it! How much deposit do you want?"

      You could've blown me over with a feather.

      So....I had my FIRST ORDER! I RACED HOME....GRABBED MY WIFEE... SWUNG HER AROUND AND SHOWED HER THE CHECK! WHOOPEE! One of the best moments of my life.

      And....that put me into a different "Mental Mood". A "mood" of "Anticipating A Sale"!

      So....you want to make money from the Internet? Get a Sale!....ANY Sale! It will put you into a different "Mental State"! This will "Change Your whole perspective"!....and get your Mentality into a "Closing Mode".

    It can be an affiliate product, web design services, an offline product, leads, really anything!

    Find a market that's profitable and match that market with a product that a company is selling.

Many of us here tried our best to help this person but I'm sorry to tell that this is getting annoying.... He asked about CPA, I sent him the best CPA ebook has ever made, and step by step videos from keyword/niche research up to promotion but he keeps asking what to do... Why just don't watch those videos and follow every single basic step? I think I'll take my leave now

    I really love to help people but if someone who is showing no interest and keeps asking without considering the suggestions, I think it's a long shot....

    Ok, here is what you need to do.

    1). Decide a domain name & register that domain on GoDaddy or NameCheap. Should not cost more than $10 if you register for 1 year.

    2). Sign up for a Hosting. (Hostgator No doubt the best) I recommend signing up for baby plan for 6 months. It will cost about $59. You can get 25% off at signup using this coupon: GET25ALLOFF

    3). In your Hosting control panel, install WordPress using Fantastico. (Very Simple 1-Click Install) Check youtube for this. (Free)

    4) Find a nice free theme in wordpress themes. (You can find tons of amazing free themes in wordpress). (Free)

    5). Find affiliate products to promote on your website. You can promote WSO's from this forum and also join other affiliate networks like clickbank. (Free)

    6). Drive traffic to your website. Since you can't afford paid traffic, so you've to work hard on free traffic. SEO is best thing to do. In case you don't know SEO, you can buy a good WSO on SEO. I found it very useful. Be focused and bring together all your courage to learn SEO.

    7). Once you drive traffic to your website, you'll get some sales & make some money.

    I am a old member of Warrior forum and asked this same questions several times in last few years. I admit that there are a lot of people willing to help you , but you can't follow every advice. You have to find out your strength and weakness and most important your interest. There are countless ways to make money or setup a online business but you must know what way you want to go.
    Just explore yourself and ask yourself about your passion or interest and then use that keyword to find information about it on WF. Write down your goal and then plan for it. Nobody can provide you a step by step method to earn money. You have to invest your time to write down a step by step plan for yourself.

    You can easily lose your money by chasing someone step by step plan so be carefull.
    My advice for you .
    Learn About :
    1. Making simple website. ( Free)
    2.Keyword Reaserch .(Free)
    3.SEO ( Free)
    4. Joining Affiliate Program ( Free)
    5.Writing Articles or Blogging ( Free)
    Once you learn these basic things , you will get a lot of ideas to earn money online. Invest your money wisely in necessary tools like Domain , hosting , Auto responder , graphics etc but after enhance your knowledge.
    Find a good Mentor if possible.

  • here's a way to make money for free. Do some niche research. Create a squidoo or tumblr page with lots of content. Keep updating this content. Get free traffic to your page from various free places like Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, pinterest. Add affiliate offers on your squidoo page. While this is going on learn about hosting, wordpress, etc.

    1) Buy some SEO tools with that money and start providing services, but before that train yourself properly.
    2) Make an auto-responder listing and start promoting affiliate products.

    I like Drayton Bird.

    Then start thinking about the type of business model you'd like to follow. Be it an affiliate, product creator... whatever. Drive traffic, watch conversions and learn to follow-up.

    Then when you get results, scale them. Or as Jason Parkers say "Put them on steroids"

    It is good that you have interest in internet marketing, which could result into a passion that can fuel your business and income efforts for the long term.

    However, at this beginning phase, I would recommend the following:

    1) Do not spend any of your business investment capital until your internet marketing education matches your passion.

    2) Do as much free research on the general aspects of internet marketing and it's various sub-components like affiliate marketing, website creation, and traffic generation

    Free ebooks, video tutorials, and forums like this are excellent resources for educating yourself so that you venture up the learning curve...

    ...ultimately increasing your chances for long term success.

    Regarding a niche, my experience is that as you educate yourself for free and on your own timeline, eventually you will find your preferred calling so that the odds of enjoyment and success go way up!

  • Maybe look at Flippa or ebay. They sell websites that haven't been marketed, but do have products or affiliate products that can make you money. You can buy these websites for like a few hundred on flippa or less on ebay. Then, just market the website.

    I'd say, website building is easy. Just use wordpress (free). Build small websites that promote a product and keep building them up.

    You can also have someone on elance do the writing for a small fee. Its not that hard.

  • For me it all started with a few domain names - about 10 at $10 a piece. Then, I outsourced my content to a writer in the Philippines. I must say that I got lucky from the start with my writer. He was great, but it can take some time to find a good one.

    Then I added some auto posting content through an auto blogging program and set up social bookmarking links. It took a few months, but I started to get some sales, with the proceeds I reinvested in more domain names.

    There are many ways to make money with affiliate marketing, but to me this is best and easiest way to get started. Eventually you learn a lot more about list building, pre-lauch promotions, jv marketing, product development, and all different types of link strategies.

    I would say if you are just stated, then keep in simple for now, but do as much research and reading as possible. It takes times, there's no doubt about that.

    Also, be careful with buying other programs. Once you have some extra cash, I suggest investing that in other programs. With your own research, reading, and trying other programs, you will learn and be successful.

  • I would say that you should choose one method and stick with it until you're comfortable enough to try another. There are so many things that you could do that jumping from one method to another continuously will drive you crazy and broke.

    You could try Bring The Fresh (search the WSO forum). It's quite newbie friendly and $300 is definitely enough to get you started.

    A piece of advice, being a newbie with limited budget, try do everything by yourself. Once you become familiar, then start outsource things you hate the most (ie. SEO) and focus yourself on other things.

    But I agree with some of the members that wrote - you need to choose one method and stick to it - Do the A-Z process. If it works for you, scale up. If it doesn't - try again or change the system. Some people do well with one system, but do not succeed with another.

  • Wow, you guys are so nice! I've spent the major part of my career in IT, web design, graphic art and sales...and there is NOBODY out there that is going to hold your hand and show you how to make a living...step one, step 2 etc. If you're not goignm to read, and you can't or won't write, and you want someone to basically do it for you...your mommy doesn't work here! I may know a lot about IT, but trust me, even with all those skills, marekting online is a completely different animal. I've been studying and reading every spare moment for almost 6 months...invested considerably more thatn $300 and I still feel like I haven't seen past the tip of the iceburg. It's a LOT of work! These guys work at their own bisunesses, that's why they are making an income. Try to remember at one time they were where you are...They're giving you the best advice available. They shouldn't do it for you, you won't learn anything that way...there are no "free" rides in life...you either pay with time or money, and since you don't have money, I would suggest you spend LOTS of time reading...just like these guys all said. One day I will break through that barrier...it's been over 6 months and I"m still working at it. You just have to determine that you can do it, it may be hard, you may have to work really hard and stretch your brain, but if you start out with all the I can'ts, this probably isn't the feild for you.

    Go through these forums and read free PDF Reports on how people are making money. Make notes and do research. Figure out what you want to do first, and what program interests you.

    When you finally no what you want to do, shoot and score. Stick to it, don't give up, make a plan with daily goals, and work your ass off.

  • You can build a website / business for under $300 no problem but it takes work and you seem reluctant to learn things. You don't want to design or build a website, you don't want to write. Both are much easier than you might think. Designing a site is easy using self hosted Wordpress software and if you are knowledgeable about the subject of your website then writing articles yourself is probably the best way to go. Outsourcing to people who have little knowledge on the subject usually means poor quality articles.

  • I will tell you what works for us.

    1) Do not do anything else, but focus on list building. If you are not doing that, you will not win in this game.

    2) The most important, use that $300 schmackaroo's to drive chit loads...and I mean (AS MUCH AS YOU CAN) TARGETED traffic to a high converting squeeze page, and keep building your list.

    Do this and you will see good results. Even if you do a half arsed job and muck up a few things, you will still see results.
  • I hate to be the person to advise SEO because I have very little clue what I'm doing when it comes to SEO. But thats also the reason I'm advising SEO.

    Buy an EMD, and start doing SEO on it everyday. I started off myself doing it everyday, knowing very little about SEO but just taking peoples advice. Well its been a few months now and my site has finally moved up to page 1. Although I gave up towards the end, I managed to still build backlinks at least twice a month. For a keyword that can bring in some serious cash if it goes up any higher.

    So I HIGHLY SUGGEST you learn a bit about SEO. This stuff actually works and works well imo.

    Paid traffic = $30-$100 easily

    I just want to share with you the costs of starting up an online business. Indeed it requires very little starting capital, but there are a few recurring one that will suck you dry in the future. My advice is that no matter what type of online business you are doing, the most crucial point is list building. And you need all the stuffs mentioned above considering you do not like writing and web designing.

    You can start an online business with $300 but if you do not have any other income to maintain your business then I suggest you think twice before investing in online business.
