Fiverr gigs in high demand?

Was thinking of giving Fiverr a try...which are the best selling types of gigs?

SEO?
Graphic Design?
Video testimonials?

In other words, which gigs are in high demand?

Depends on your experience and what you are into.

It's hard to say what niches are really hot on Fiverr, because there's demand in almost every niche.

I would say the Twitter/Youtube/Facebook social media providers are the richest on Fiverr, some of them have thousands of thumbs up on their gigs and I haven't seen so much feedback on any other kind of gig, except for SEO gigs.

But you should narrow down your niche selection by what you're good at. At the end of the day, you'll have to deal with competition in any area, so at least try to pick something you are good at to beat your competitors.

Also, try to be as unique as possible on Fiverr. It really pays off.

    Best of luck!

    Thanks!

I'm kinda surprised you said SEO gets a lot of feedback. I have a hard time believing those guys are legitimate.

I mean, I'm good at graphics design...but looking at the other kinds of categories.

    Anyone else with their opinion?

What is in high demand does not matter at all. The skills that you excel at are the only ones that will enable you to succeed on Fiverr.

Someone mentioned that 'voice-over' gigs are in very high demand. How does that help you if you have the voice of a drunken frog?

Stick with what you are good at, excel in what you produce and then, guess what? Your gigs will be in high demand.

I agree with Trevor there is demand in every niche but what really matters most where you are good at. If you think you are good of these 3 that you can do then go for it. But if not focus on one niche and if you have established one already you may move forward and start with a new one again.

I am always using fiverr for anything that would take to much time to do myself. I think you need to create something you are good at and that you can easily replicate. If you are good at graphics, then perhaps a promotional video that you can script to take words. Once you have the script in place you can just change the words. It Will save you doing a lot of work, you can over deliver (quote 24 hour turn around and then do the work in 2 hours) , this gives you a great reputation on fiver and also gets you repeat business.

It is...for example you will see people on there offering gigs like
      "50,000 blog comment backlinks"

Which all of those blog comment backlinks are all trash being PR N/A or 0.

Because people who hire bad SEO ''experts'' usually don't know much about SEO, otherwise they would have done it themselves. They get promised thousands of backlinks which are in reality useless, and basically they get what they paid for. What's worse is that most of them don't even know they got tricked, since like I said, they can't recognize the bad SEO from a good one. The ones who realize they got crossed over hire a better SEO expert to fix the things up. That's how the market works.

Hi! I use fiverr as a buyer and recently ordered animated gif logo for $5,-. Guy from USA is very good in this kind of graphics , and even changed something after purchase. Very good service.
I used fiverr also to order articles, for my travel site. Girl (student) actually in Italy, wanted to write 25 short articles for $5,- , but I asked her to write me just 5 good 800+ words articles and she delivered. The quality was not excellent (but grammar was perfect), but I got the base to quckly re-write it by my desired way. So this $5,- saved me many days of writing the base text.
I want to try some social bookmarkings and similar , but have to find someone with reputation there.
For my graphics needs, I found already gay from USA and one from India. They make miracles, for $5,-

I don't really want to spend all day working on a $5.00 gig (that nets $4.00). So much easier ways to earn money. Now maybe if the $5.00 gig was for tweeting a message that only took two minutes to do, then that could be worth it.

I know a very high demand gig on Fiverr that once you get noticed (meaning: you actually perform well) you literally get forced off of Fiverr because of customers seeking you outside of Fiverr.

      Voice overs. Especially female.

Check out: voice overs female in Fiverr.

There are girls getting $5 (really $4) for 25 words. Typically 10 - 15 seconds of reading. And they are backed up.

If a firm picks you up for ads and videos the sky is the limit. For continuity they keep needing you.

Good job bumping a two year old thread, archkintu.

Like everyone else mentioned, SEO is probably one of the few services with a super high demand. The thought of paying $5 to get on top of Google gets to a lot of people, in this case it's too good to be true. Most of theses SEO services are just a link blast which will boost you to nowhere.

Other gigs in high demand are graphic design gigs, testimonials and voice overs. I myself do a lot of graphic design, but rarely have multiple gigs in queue, but that's because I haven't really marketed myself.

Wonder how much more gigs I could get if I spent some time marketing my Fiverr profile?

    Hi,

If you want to find clients on Fiverr, I suggest yu offer whiteboard animations services. Simply get a software like Powtoon or Videoscribe and start selling animations starting from 5$ (for example, for a 10sec video).
Then just upsell your way to good income with additional voice overs that you can simply get off fiverr as well.

Whiteboard animations are in great demand and I'm sure it will stay that way for a long time to come

Whiteboard videos are extremely easy to produce. Excellent quality whiteboard videos - not so much.

Learning a new skill to start out on Fiverr is not viable. Creating what you are already extremely good at is the only way to make it on Fiverr, and even with skill, there is no guarantee. If there was, who wouldn't be on Fiverr?

Is there any common-sense left in this world???

Thing to do is go to fiverr yourself and look to see what is selling! When you find a gig this is selling hot and you can perform the service yourself then just duplicate the gig and wait for the sales to come in.

It's really as simple as that.

No trying to send traffic to your gigs

again the nice thing about fiverr is your gig gets seen on their very high traffic network.

SEO is in very high demand over there. It never ceases to amaze me how someone can think plopping over five bucks on a link wheel gig would actually get them someone. Anyways, copywriting service can be good, if you try a bunch of writers out and rebuy from the ones you like. Basic animation creating gigs are plentiful there with some really talented people that can whip you up a quality 2 minute animation for five bucks.

The best thing to do there is simply take some time and explore the site. It's changed quite a bit over the past 3 years, offering some good gigs if your willing to trudge through some of the crappy ones.

Without giving you an answer as a marketer, here's what I would look for if I was browsing the fiverr marketplace as a buyer:

    - Video editing (someone to edit my videos, effects, intro, outro stuff like that)
    - Graphics Design (flyers, banners, logos, covers, illustrators)
    - Marketing (there's one guy who is a taxi driver and at the back seats he has an iPad tablet that displays ads to his clients. Really cool stuff. Also guys that can print and add posters and flyers throughout the universities is what I would buy)
    - Voiceover (I think this is in high demand). I remember the days when people were paying a lot more than $5 for quality voice over actors.
    - Video testimonials (People who can review my products, physical products especially, and do some script reading). Plus they get to keep the stuff that I'm sending them, so that's a nice bonus for them.

I think looking at the fiverr marketplace as a buyer, these are some of the categories I frequently check out and buy gigs from.

I hope this was useful to you and don't forget that you have to 'think outside the box',

    Cheers!

If you're a halfway decent writer I'd say that's your best bet.

I've had more clients than I could handle when I wrote on Fiverr and people DO become addicted to your services (and then want to pay you more) if your writing is halfway decent.

    Why writing over other gigs?

Because it's a real skill, that requires a real human, and good writing cannot be automated.

    (Not yet anyway. Hehe).

    PS:

If you have any type of social following... It's also easy to offer promotional gigs in this way.

But if you can't deliver the goods, it won't work.

You can get some fast bookings if you offer article writing gigs. For me though it feels too much like a job... getting requirements for $5 from someone who doesn't know crap about the niche they're going into. But... if you can tolerate it, there's some easy money there. Alot of successful Fiverr sellers on this forum would agree.

I'm a seller on Fiverr (Level One) so this thread piqued my interest.

I wonder if it's a quantity and quality kind of thing. Some people may have tons of orders in the que, but I wonder if that's for tasks that can be done like super quick, and all. Some things can't humanly be done super fast and be excellent.

I wish graphics was easier to break into (for me, anyway) I have had a logo design gig that went pretty much blank for awhile until I got an order request yesterday. Unfortunately, the buyer claimed my proposed design was too "busy" and wished to cancel the order. I went along willingly, since it does not affect you negatively if you agree to a mutual cancellation. That was a bummer, though, I could have used a positive rating for my logo gig to get the ball rolling...
