Anyone Else Experiencing Downtime Issues With HostGator?

INTERNET MARKETING

Some of my sites all of a sudden can't be loaded or connected to even if I was just there not but five-ten seconds ago. All of these sites are hosted by Hostgator is there a connection there or is this just a unique problem that I seem to be having?

If it's the sites in your sig, they appear to be up from here.

Just discovered at least two of mine are down. Checked them with the above links and it's not just me. These are hosted by HG.

Domains on 2 of my 3 HG accounts seem to be down right now too.

Yep. Me too.

I just initiated a live chat with them. Here is the response:

(3:15:34pm)Joseph S.:I do apologize for any downtime you may currently be experiencing while attempting to visit your webpage. At this time we are aware of the issues and are working as quickly as possible to correct this issue. While this does not appear to be a serious issue, we do not have an expected timeframe on a resolution.

Hopefully this doesn't take too long.

Although, their live chat must be busy because mine crashed before I could type a response.

Great news they're back up but as someone said do try using a website monitoring service. Plenty of good ones out there such as Pingdom, but StatusCake also has same functionality and is free. Advantage of StatusCake is if like me you have quite a few sites & blogs they allow you to monitor unlimited websites on the free package.
