Why Jumping From Almost 500 Feet Was The Best "Business" Decision Ever?

I very recently did a bungee jump from 492 Feet...

I can tell you, it was one of the MOST craziest, Most Insane thing I've done so far...

But after that jump, I came to realize a few things:

- Although I do have an accent, I don't care what other people think of me when I'm infront of a video
- I can overcome any anxiety issue I had in the past
- I don't have to be "afraid" of any social situation
- I can be the host of a webinar any moment
- I can release products with confidence

WHY?

All these above have been issues of my inner self. And that jump made me realize this important part:

If I can force myself from jumping 492 Feet (I'm afraid of heights / Used to was -- after this jump), then I can overcome any "small" or "minor" inner battle against myself, even if it's things like webinars, speaking on stage, anything really.

Points to take home from this post:

- If you're afraid of social situations
- If you're afraid of talking in front of a video
- if you're afraid of talking to strangers
- If you have issues in front of a large group of people
- Any issue with any inner battle- type of situation

THEN you need to do something drastic about it.

In MY case it was the bungee jump. It actually has given me a new course, a better, easier avenue to continue in my businesses.

What do you think? Could you see yourself jumping the bungee jump?

    Congrats Mr. Lauri...!

Sometimes I think the battles we fight against ourselves are the hardest ones...
and winning them is the best feeling in the world.

Would I consider a bungee jump? ...no, not really.
But we have to pick our own battles...right?

Way to go man! It's so true that online anxiety can be just as bad as a bungee jump, but you just gotta go for it or you'll never know what awaits on the other end. Heck I wanna bungee jump now.

I've always wanted to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

And, you're right, facing your fears is a great way to get some perspective and some new-found confidence. Well done, sir.

  • Congrats Sir!

I am not afraid of a bungee jump although I havent done it before but I am afraid of heights and I think jumping out of an airplane (with a parachute of course ) might do the job for me. Maybe it will help me overcome other real life problems and fears..

    Again well done to you.

Skydiving will solve your problem. One way or another.

Mr. Lauri, thank you. This does encourage me. I am working on a video right now. People on you tube like to make nasty comments about my products and services. Still, we fight on. It is great to make many petite mini movies. All the best to you...
