Social Network Accounts & Multiple Sites - How to handle them?

If you run multiple sites and you're the brand behind them, how do you handle social network accounts?

Is it a mistake to use yourself as the account identifier if you plan to be the face of more niches/projects in the future? Why or why not?

Example:
twitter.com/yourname for a site?
youtube.com/yourname for a channel?

    It depends what your brand is, if your brand is your name then I would suggest using that as your handle. If you brand is your website name, I would us that.

    If you have multiple accounts you might want to look into something like MarketMeSuite - you can run all your accounts from one interface.
