Warrior forum overload

Hi,
I am new to Warrior Forum and a newbie in terms of internet marketing. I am spending hours a day reviewing masses of posts, reading up on different products etc. I have reached overload in terms of knowing what is the best way of approaching and dealing with all the key information provided:confused:. Am I the only one experiencing this problem. For example, how do you assess which warrior offers are worth spending time on. Any insight into how best to utilise Warrior Forum would be greatly appreciated.

The most important thing I have learnt in 10 years online is that you need to decide on STRATEGY that you will follow no matter what.

That is what I'm doing, and I will never go away from that.

Having a STRATEGY for how you want to make money is what
helps you say no to buying stuff/doing things that don't fit with
    your strategy.

The lack of an effective STRATEGY is a plague, and the very thing
that will make sure 97% (or more) of aspiring marketers will NEVER
(not a typo) reach their goals.

I decided what ONE thing is the most important to master online.

This has become my STRATEGY and Info Overload is a thing of the past for me.

information maven focus on taking action. Internet marketing comes down to doing two things consistently. Setting up funnels that convert visitors into sales and then driving traffic to those funnels. Traffic + Conversion = sales

Here is another way of looking at that equation:

    Gathering targeted audience + Influence/Building Trust/Offering Value = Results

Set up your funnel and then drive traffic to it. Take action everyday. Reading and learning is good but each day you need to make progress on getting traffic and converting the traffic.

Test things, find out what works for you, and do those things over and over again.

As far as the forums go, there is plenty of helpful info on this forum, The Marketing Forum, and the Adsense, SEO, PPC forum. Those are two that I really stay on.

This forum can show you people's ideas on how they make money, you can follow suite. The other forum is good for its SEO techniques. You will find that there are people on here that will bash you on every corner, but just ignore those people, they are the 97% that haven't made it online.

For the most part, people are very helpful on here. Be careful when asking questions though! lol! You may not like the answers, this is because those first people I described always seem to be lurking around waiting to pounce on someone for asking a question!

I will help you in any way that I can too...and most of the people on here are very knowledgeable and will help too.

I agree with the above completely.

Choose 1 specific area, and then focus on it. You might get a couple courses or look for training related to that area, but do your best to ignore everything else.

It is all too time consuming and not getting you to your goals. Focus is the key.
The hard part is sometimes figuring out what to go with initially. Feel free to check out the free membership I've put together for people getting started in my signature and see if the simple system there is for you. There's also a lot of other warriors taking different routes and offering free, valuable advice. So just get plugged in somewhere and stick with it.

Trial and error is the only real method you can use. However, i would stick to the beleif that if it sounds to good to be true the liable case it is.

Stop what you're doing. Listen to me. Stop reading the WF. Full stop. If you carry on doing something which yields more problems for you than it solves... you're shooting yourself in the foot.

Carry on doing what you're doing, if it's not working for you based on the resultant feedback you're giving to your own mind it's perfectly pointless to feed the mind with yet more information which is just going to make you more confused than ever.

You're not alone don't worry. Thousands if not tens of thousands of people on this forum have in the past or are currently suffering from information overload to various degrees.

To cure this problem you need to allow yourself to filter only the information which you need right now to achieve your current goal based objective.

So, tell me what your objective is?

What are you trying to do?

What information do you lack right now at this present time which is impeding you from moving you towards your intended goal orientated destination?

What precisely is your goal? And what is the time frame to reach this goal?

This knowledge will help you to really focus on the kind of information you need right now.

You need to know in your own mind what it is exactly you want to do. If you don't know what this is before you do anything else do a S.W.O.T. analysis of your...

    Strengths...

    Weaknesses...

    Opportunities...

    Threats...

Let me know below when you've written these down on a piece of paper.

Let's try easing you back on the rails, see what happens.

    You game?

    Warmest regards,

This is very wise advice - especially the part about filtering the information to only get the information that you need right now.

PS How far is your back up against the wall?

Reason for the question? Because if it's not, you probably won't take action (or much action) even if one does manage to help you identify what it is you want to do exactly.

It's only when your back is right up against the wall often you then start to actually take the action you need.

So, on a scale of 1 and 10 how would you rate your level of desire right now to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve?

I am just starting out also and have been going through the same as you. The posts above seem to make a "lot" of sense, that is finding one thing and focusing very well on it. It is important though to become familiar with the different forums here, they're really are not that many but they are each highly specialized and are an incredibly valuable resource. A couple of my definite favorites are of course the "War Room" and also the Joint Venture forum.

Obviously Warrior forum is a very educational place to be for IM and you can have just about any question answered here that you need.

Stay out of the WSO section for awhile and spend more time in the War Room...need something to support that suggestion?

If you're gonna get overloaded, get overloaded on information you can trust.

Not long ago, I needed a little direction. I came here and asked for help and got some great ideas. Then, I got to work on those ideas. The trick is to pick a direction and go with it...full steam ahead.

It is easy to get lost in this forum. It's full of information that you can use and wonderful, successful people that you can learn from. With that said, it can also be a time suck.

You can do it how you want to do it, but what works for me is 'rules.' When I'm working, I'm doing it at certain hours, or for a certain number of hours - and I'm not doing anything else. AFTER those hours are over, I can do what I want, including coming here and absorbing more information. I bookmark information that I like, subscribe to threads that I want to keep up with, and copy and paste notes as I see fit. But I do not change my direction, and I do not come here during the hours that I am working. During the hours that I am working, if I think of questions that I want to ask, I jot them down, and continue working....those questions can usually wait until after work.

Pick a direction, move in that direction, do not change that direction until you have either succeeded and you are ready to add something new, or you see that you are not succeeding and you need to make an adjustment, and set some rules for yourself. That's my advice

if any offer converts properly and can give you good return then they are great. but if the offers are time killing and don't give you good output is not good for you. then you should shift to other offer at once.
    thanks

You gotta find something that interests you, and then focus all your time and efforts on that. Don't chase a bunch of shiny objects, (AKA WSO's, product launches, etc..) and make sure you test out the method you choose 100% before moving onto something else. Focus is key. Go all in on what you feel is right, then adjust accordingly. there are a lot of ways to make money online. Try to focus on one method at a time to see what is best fit for you...

Here is one of the fastest ways:

Like Dragonfire Wealth said, stay out of the WSO section - you'll just fall for every latest & greatest thing.

Instead, spend time in the JV (Joint Ventures) section far further down in the categories. Think about what strengths and resources you could bring to a partnership and what your weaknesses/needs are (so you can assess the benefits from potential partners.)

You will learn quickly that leveraging relationships is a big part of online success.

I would also caution you that many people spend time trolling forums as a feeble excuse of being productive, instead of actually going out and doing the hard work. Seriously -- decide on a time limit for forum 'education' in advance (setting a timer if necessary), and then spend the rest of your time actually doing WORK.

Here is your litmus test: Is this activity making me money? Is it driving me towards profitable results, or am I using it as a mirage of an excuse to pretend that I am being productive?

    Best of luck to you!

If you don't have specific target of learning and try to learn everything at a time, it is very much possible that you will be overloaded and will learn nothing! Be smart. You don't need to learn everything in this world. First make your target. And then go step by step to achieve that.

You can not read and follow all the threads. You have to focus on what you want.
Try searching by keywords using the search tool and find the thread that can solve your problem.
