Is there a difference in alternate domains?

I'm curious as to whether there is a difference between registering a domain that is "xxxxkeyword.com" or "keywordxxxx.com" since the exact match domain is already taken.

Has anyone had any experience using both that noticed a difference?

i tried going to experimenting with some different sites, and all resulted into being directed to a different site than what i had expected. So yes, there is probably a diffrence.

Yes; there's a big difference, Mike.

If "keyword" is the primary keyword for which you want the site to rank, it's really important to register keywordxxxxx.com rather than xxxxxkeyword.com. Whether "xxxxx" is an alleged "stop-word" or not.

You need the keyword for which you want to rank to be at the start of the domain-name.

All the people registering "bestkeyword.com" (just like all the people writing articles with titles like "5 Mistakes to Avoid With Keyword" rather than "Keyword - 5 Mistakes To Avoid") are making a big mistake.

Don't be astonished if the thread gets moved to the "SEO Forum" or even deleted - "just saying"!
