I have been fortunate enough to discover the so-called "secret for success". However, I'm sure you realize that most people selling you stuff do not want you to know that elusive secret.

Why? Well, if you figure out the real secret they no longer have "secrets" to sell you. So in today's post I just wanted to fill you in on exactly what the secret is.

The secret is… There is no real secret.

What it takes to be successful is pretty much common knowledge Once this knowledge is acquired all it takes is the basic fundamentals of life that have existed all along.

It takes hard work.

It takes dedication.

It takes persistence.

Most importantly it takes the right attitude.

There are many proven techniques and strategies out there to get from zero to profit. However, what all information marketers rely on is the fact that you are always looking for an easier faster way to accomplish it.

So, this elusive secret becomes a seller's best friend. I have something that you don't know and it makes your life easier, so you obviously want it.

The reason most of us fail online is because we jumped from shiny object a shiny object never really implementing anything we have learned.

We want instant profits and we want them right now. If it is not achieved in a decent timeframe, for most people that's within 24 hours, it doesn't work and it is on to the next secret.

So what happens is you are consistently stuck spinning your wheels trying to move forward while consistently in reverse.

Now, as I said before that elusive secret is common knowledge. I will give you a real world example that will prove just that.

The secret to success for online marketers is simple…

Traffic and conversions.

Without traffic and conversions you have nothing. I'm willing to bet a pretty large sum of money that most of you realize this. You know that you need traffic and you know that you need to convert that traffic into sales.

However, instead of working on driving traffic and converting that traffic into sales you chase the newest shiny object trying to make life easier and better.

So, if you take that knowledge and apply the first piece of common knowledge I already gave you... you have a recipe for success.

You work hard on your traffic and conversions.

You become dedicated to nothing but traffic and conversions.

You have the persistence and realize your success depends on driving traffic to your site and converting them into customers.

You develop an attitude of "drive traffic and convert that traffic into customers"

I guarantee you if you apply this to your business you will be successful. Stop trying to find the next best thing and simply work on what works.

PS - I use the "Secret" trick to sell and their is no problem using it. However, you ultimately need to stop hunting secrets and start working on the fundamentals.
