Research on Flippa "competition", opinions needed

Hey everyone long time lurker, new member here! I've read through most of the threads here that included Flippa as a keyword and while some of them were good, a lot of them were written by angry, frustrated and downright ambivalent sellers and buyers. There has been lots of talk about competitors and those that claim to be in the works of becoming their next big competitor but I'm a bit confused as to why they haven't asked outright what everyone would like to see in a competitor.

I'm sure that I will get lots of answers that include:
"It's impossible to compete you would have to have a substantial amount of money for marketing, staff, and etc.'
"They don't need competition."
"Everything needs to be changed."
"I love everything Flippa."
"They have all the buyers, no one else will be able to get them."

Let me make this clear, I'm not planning to become competition for Flippa nor do I know anyone who wants to be but as a buyer myself I see lots of things that could improve Flippa or even give competition a leg up I'm really just curious.

What would you like to change?
What would you like to see in a competitor?
