At What Time Of Day Are You Most Productive?

Maybe it's left over DNA in my system from my early DJ and Night Owl days when I was younger, but I find that I become more creative and simply function better when the sun goes down. How about you?

Morning for me. When the sun drops, so does my energy level.

The most productive time for me is late evening and sometimes early morning. Both have pros and cons. But I always prefer early morning because your mind will be fresh until and unless you open your inbox

Late at night. Strange? Seems like a lot of IMers are night owls.

I was thinking this as well, I get better results between 10pm and 2am.

Less distractions and more motivation to get things completed before my day officially ends..

I'm most productive late at night, I've always been a night owl. There's a lot less interruptions going on and by midnight I have so much caffeine and nicotine in my system that my mind works faster than my fingers can type. I can't use voice recognition software or do video voice-overs at night though because I would wake everyone up. The only way that I see 6.00am is if I stay up all night. It's 2.00am here now lol.

      It depends for me...

      Writing fiction - between 6AM -10AM

Visual design, such as book covers - 10PM-2AM

And yes, I do tend to nap in the middle of the day ;-)
