My article gor deindexed from google, will it come back?

Some of my recent article has vanished from google, I searched for them before and found them on page 2, but when i checked the rankings today they have become deindexed from google ( did the info:articlename.com search ) and google said it couldn´t find them

How could this have happened, have I experienced some kind of google slap, or sandbox, how does this work exactly?

The only thing I´ve done differently is that I changed the keywords in the articles and resubmitted them.

Does anyone know what could have happened and will my articles come back?

Sincerely
Karl

    Karl,

    Dumb question time....

If your article was already on page 2, why would you change anything and resubmit?

In cases like this, continue building backlinks to the original article and just create a new article that targets the "new Keywords".

I'm sure your article will come back again, but where it might land is a different story

Hi, Jeremy, no it was on page 2 after I submitted it, I then I built some back links to it and expected too see some improvements but instead it got deindexed.

Well, If it don´t come back I´ll write a new article with the same keywords then.

    Sincerely

it could just be a google dance.. I often have stuff disappear for a bit, but it usually comes back in a better position.

      Sorry Karl,

I misunderstood what you were asking

Either way though, unless you are working a specific strategy it is generally
not a good idea to re-submit articles. Let them fall where they are going to and then reassess the situation to see if some backlinks will help or if you would be better off just writing another article targeting the same keywords.

It would depend on lot of factors.

    1. The number of directories you submitted to.
    2. Was the article written by you or is it PLR.
    3. Did you change keywords and resubmit before or after it got indexed.
    4. What competitor articles are on the 2nd page now.

Recommendation: Keep writing and submittion original articles. Google has shrouded itself in a lot of mystery and you will go nuts trying to figure out the why's and wherefore's.

    Keep Pushin....
