WP Settings Help Please

Hi...

I always get fast help here so I have a couple of questions if you do not mind please...

I have installed a WP Blog on one of my old domains and have a couple of issues that I need help with.

1. I have made two post. They each go on their OWN page. How do I get them both to display on the main page? I can find no setting to change this.

2. I wish the post I make to be in the order that [[ I ]] choose. And NOT Change. Not latest on top. (once I figure out how to have all post on the same page and not by themselves on their own page)

I would PM someone the URL if requested. It is a rather controversial site and I will not post it here!

PS - Both do show as text links in the "Recent Post" sidebar.

    Hi

    You can use a theme that lets you display full posts on the home page.

    You can also use a plugin like A Sticky Post Order to set what order you want your posts appear.

    PS - Both do show as text links in the "Recent Post" sidebar.

    In your Admin go to Settings > Reading 'Select Front Page Displays Your Latest Posts' save,

    I will try to figure out that problem with a plugin.

    But why the hell can I not get more than ONE post to display on a page?

    What I am doing is clicking on "Add Post", putting in a title, and in the compose area, putting in a brief description and under that using the "Video" tag to display a YouTube video. It plays right on the page.

    Any Ideas guys/gals?

    The problem ended up being the SP-Video plug-in.

    Sucks...

    Can someone recommend a video plugin the will allow me to ONLY put in the videos I wish to display. And maybe put and keep them in the order that I wish?

    And to open and play on my page?

      Hey Pede

      Try JW player or WP You Tube Player, both will generate shortcodes that you can post into a page exactly where you want them.

      Tip for your visitors benefit, don't set anything to autoplay
