If your new to the forum, check out the main page and see what piques your interests, and then use the search function to get more in-depth details. There are also many sub-forums, so if you are interested in say CPA marketing, you'll find a whole sub-forum dedicated to that.

I will tell you where NOT to go. Don't go to the WSO section, Warrior Special Offers Forum - you may get burned there and spend a lot of money on stuff you will probably not use or will not help you much. Take some time to read what really answers your questions, decide on the path you want to take into IM and just after you feel you really know what you want and what you need to go forward visit the WSO section.

All the information you need is available for FREE. Once a method of IM attracts you, stick to it. Do not get distracted by the many other methods.

Do not get sucked into many of the WSO's available.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. It takes a little while sometimes to find something you know YOU personally can stick with. Once you do, focus on courses and as much free training in that area.

Joining the war room is a good tip, but again, don't get overwhelmed and start getting everything there.

There's a lot of info in this forum. There are a couple of other things you should know as well. There isn't just one legitimate way to make money online but several. Also, any method for making real money online requires work. It's not something that will happen overnight. It's about learning a legit model and putting it into action. Your income grows over time.

Wow, thank you for all your advice. I am not exactly new to internet marketing, learned about it about 2-3 years ago, made a bit of money here and there but was never in the Warrior Forum. I didn't know people here are so supportive, I always have the impression that people doing internet marketing are very competitive and everyone is after each other's blood. Wrong impression, I suppose.

This year, my boss from my day-job allows me to work from home for a limited period of time. So, I am hoping to put in more effort and establish a 2nd career online. I just signed up Warriour Forum today and was greeted with the offer to sign up for the private War Room for $37. Wonder if that's the next step to go?

Get a feel for the Forum before making any "Buying Decisions"!

By that I mean you can look for the well trusted and well respected members here at the forum and then begin to get an idea of how you can become a helpful and well much appreciated member yourself.

There are some amazing people here but you have to take time to seek them out before you get sold by the "COPY-WRITING" GENIUS'S First.

Decide on what you want to do and then find as much information as you can and begin to implement it until you have mastered it completely.

This way YOU then have something to give back to the community!

YOU too can then become a well respected fellow member and change your life ten fold in more ways than one.

I suggest you join the war room to get a feel for what IM methods are out there. But be warned with so many options you might get a little overwhelmed. If you find yourself jumping from one method to another then it's not a good sign.

Get on the war room and read up. Read up on creating websites/blogs, SEO, Listbuilding, Linkbuilding through forums,blogs, article syndication, ppc etc etc. Find out what appeals to you...Product creation, affiliate marketing, CPA etc etc.

I make extensive use of the search function. I use it just about everytime I come to the WF.

There are certain people on this forum who are exceptionally helpful, particuallry for newbies, and I search for posts using their name. I also search with my keywords being the topic I want to learn about.

This forum is a great resource when you uae it well and do not get distracted.

The first thing I advise you to do is define your interest. What exactly are your plans for the next 1-2 months?

Then, according to your own answers start browsing the related subforums and read as much as you can. At the same time start taking small steps towards implementing the details you've just learned.

Welcome to the forum.

You landed in a great place! The best place to start with is right where you are, the Internet Marketing Forum. Go through the threads. Dig deep. Some of the old posts are really informative. You will be able to learn a lot from those.

Some of the warriors already said that, but it is important so I'll repeat it. Stay away from WSO, warrior special offers. At least in the beginning. There are a great offers there, but if you do not know yet what are you doing you could get lost there and before you'll know it you will spend a lot of money for products you may not need yet.

The other good place on the forum is Allinone where single topics are discussed at length.

Jumping into any marketing forum when your new can leave you confused....very.

Make sure when you find an area you are interested in...just focus on that...such as you like SEO...study that until you master it...find all the articles..videos etc...that you can and master it. Don't jump from one area to another...people do that for years and don't get anywhere. Focus on one area..and you will make money...I've done this in every area I've gone into...and have been successful at it...
