Hi guys,

I just went to clicksure to check my affiliate stats and it seems the site is down.

I then went to downorblocked.net (A site where the tell you if a site is online or not) and got the following results...

Webserver: clicksure.com

Code: None
Server not found

Does anyone know what is going on with clicksure?

    • I'd guess it's only temporary.

  • It's up when I just checked.
  • As Far as I can see it is up and running

Looks like it was just a little downtime

  • As an affiliate I know for a fact that Mastercard and Visa are currently blocking payments to Clicksure from US cardholders. This is BIG trouble for Clicksure. I have fired off an support ticket to Clicksure and am awaiting their response to this. Everyday I am getting complaints from prospective purchasers saying their credit cards are being blocked.

    • No, it's not gone buddy. They process out of China, so have a slighty higher decline rate is all. Plus FYI networks like Clicksure and Clickbank have also began blocking habitual refunders and happy chargeback peeps. Some banks automatically block international transactions unless you tell them otherwise as a fraud prevenative measure; however you can call your Visa or Mastercard provider and simply tell them that you want international transactions allowed for your account and they will remove the block

Give it 24hrs after you know the international block has been removed and it will go right through.

  • Every site had to pass a downtime...

    • It's basically a "too strong" level of fraud protection or something...

It's not ~quite~ as bad as the way TrafficBot made it sound.

From what I hear - there's definitely a high level of DECLINES (Trafficbot said "blocked" - and almost made it sound like "all USA cards are blocked").

      It's a high number - I'd guess 20-25%. But it's not 100%.

I talked to one of their big vendors while in Affiliate Summit this week and he's pretty happy with Clicksure - there's a few guys that are. I wonder if one has a compelling enough offer, will a customer reach in their pocket for a secondary credit card perhaps?? (just a thought)

(And yes -- it's up - and even downorblocked says it's up right now)

  • Shocking products and terrible customer service from my own experience with them. I had to wait over a month for a simple refund on a sub standard product. I will never deal with them again.
  • So the verdict is: ClickSure Sucks...thanks for the heads up, guys!
  • The site is up on my end...for now.

    • I'd be out of there as quick as I could.

I'd never be a vendor there, and would never buy a product from their marketplace

  • I recently got an email from them saying that Paypal put them on a limit of sorts...doesn't seem like a reliable vendor.

    • Considering they dont accept PayPal payments and only use them to payout smaller affiliate commissions of less than $1,000, what probably happened was their account went from sending out almost no transactions, to sending out thousands of dollars "over night" and Paypal limited them due to the increase in payouts.

Just like if you go and create a Paypal account and start receiving a surge of payments, you get limited.

Nothing to see/worry about here folks....move along.
    • You're right, but paypal still seems to manage to stay in business. Go figure...

  • I wanted to check out some of their products a while back to promote as an affiliate but I was put off because they wanted some details which I really didn't want to give them, I can't remember exactly what it was perhaps bank account details or ID / address verification uploaded? Either way it didn't sit well with me.
  • Erm I will personally just use another network if I am not comfortable with them. There are many other reliable networks to join. I will simply just move on

    • They seem to have had a lot of problems over the past year. For this reason, I am staying away from them until they stabilize.
  • Its working on my end
  • I'm sort of surprised clicksure tried to work with PayPal, seeing as how PayPal despises most of the products clicksure markets. A la Internet marketing.

    Anyway, clicksure is definitely up.
