INTERNET MARKETING

All the internet marketer gone through with no knowledge at all at IM. How much money have you you loss for product and tools before you finally get the real technique and strategy you have know now?.by trial and error.

not much. as I preferred to go with a solid plan. if you do good research and home work you ll make money with very little risk or loss.

From beginning my IM adventure and the things I brought to market, try and use I would guess it was over a few hundred dollars, may be more as like all new IM's I got caught up in the fast money road and soon realized that it takes hard work, time and strategy to make money as an IM. I now put my decision making skills to use before I buy a product to make sure it will fill my current purpose.

  We've lost under $100. is my best guess. We did our research, knew our product was good, knew the competition was tiny. The mistakes we made were advertising in the wrong places, which isnt such a bad thing, you learn where to spend your ad dollars and where not to spend them. We've made several thousands of bucks tho we are not at the point where it can be our sole day job. Hopefully things continue well and it can provide a good chunk of income in a few years.

  I haven't lost much money thankfully. I took my time, researched, and did my homework before I started up my business. I made sure I knew what I needed to do before I started.

My first internet project - big penny auction site with 30000 daily visitors - took my hard made 7000 €. Unfortunately, due to technical problems, site is now closed. And 7000 €, too... But that was 2 years ago.

It depends how much money do you have to spend and how lazy you are. If someone doesn't have any money to test then he uses his time, Either way till you make it, you are going to lose a lot of money and time.

Not sure if the word "loss" in the context of this post is considered to be the same as "business expenses" or "investment" in helpful tools, services and products that help drive your business forward. However, if at the end of the day your business has become profitable, then any investment into your business can never be considered a real loss.

  I couldn't tell you how much money I've "lost" in this little pastime. But that's not the way to look at it, I learned something from every thing I've purchased, even if getting first hand knowledge of what a piece or crap WSO can be. It turned out to be an investment.
  
  Some people may have lost "thousands" on PPC or something, but a person normally is not going to lose a lot of money in the first place, simply because they don't have much to begin with anyway

I've probably lost about $4k online, I've invested about $120k.

Sometimes you get stung, all the experience in the world won't prepare you for the outsourcer you trusted for 6 months running off with your money.

Anyway, the best way to make money online quickly is to buy traffic, and understand that you're gonna lose before you win. But I don't recommend this for most people because most people are not diligent enough to follow a campaign closely.

However, this time last year I was making $900 per week with $20 of traffic. That boat has now sailed, and I make more than now but the ROI is no where near as good!

ive been an internet marketer for over 4 years now and i have spent just over $20k on education

was it worth it?

yes absolutely, i wouldnt trade it for anything

but the best thing is that ive made way more than $20k back in the last 4 years so not a bad investment at all :-)

its all about knowing what works and what you should be focusing your time and effort on and what to leave alone

Internet Marketing like any business needs an investment to get it started, butjust be careful who you trust out there, unfrotunately you can come accross some scam or another, which is a shame, but if your not sure.. dont do it. Get some advice, referals and alwasy check feedback.

My biggest was when I spend almost 500 usd to buy script for dating website without having knowledge to make it successful. By the way. The same script and is for sale in my signature
However all I spend I like to think of that as "Learning" The few things I did have all leave some value for me. When u buy something process start. You need to act and do things. Acting is better then do nothing. Of course I mean if you are not spending money you don't have

Let me give you the best advice you'll ever receive (if I do say so myself)

Getting into any industry has a very steep learning curve. Normally the best way to enter an extremely risky industry such as Internet Marketing is to take $100 bills and burn them. Grab a lighter, and light them on fire one at a time. Do this until it doesn't hurt anymore.

Once it's ceased to feel like money and it's only a number, then you can start actually making some progress. You'll take some losses, but you'll learn, and in the end you'll notice how quickly that number goes up and not down.
