I've read a million and one guru guides, ebooks etc on IM but still struggle to grasp some of the basic elements such as product selection. The truth is there are too many conflicting guides, outdated information and product pushers touting the next shiny object to know which plans to follow.
I'm tech savvy, can build wordpresss sites fairly easily and handle all on site seo. I'm very hard working and run a bricks and mortar business but want to start earning revenue form additional sources. I'm looking for businesses I can build to last, not rip people off with grab the money and run schemes and not really looking to get involved in the make money online niche as I don't feel qualified to preach what I don't yet practice (even if many "guru's" seem comfortable to do so).
Forums and member groups sound a bit too hands off in my opinion as there is nobody to answer to, no accountability and nobody to correct me on small but possibly crucial mistakes I may make along the way. In an ideal world it would be great to work on part of some performance related package where the coach / mentor earned all of the profit earned on the sites that were built as part of the training. eg
Coach teaches product selection.
Instructs me what websites to set up, what content to add and how much.
Coach trains and instructs other elements of the affiliate marketing and sales process inc list building and email marketing etc
I would pay for hosting, links and other project expenses etc. Revenue would first of all pay off the expenses incurred but any profit would be paid to said coach.
Lets say the hosting and link building etc cost £300 for 3 sites. The sales were £1000. That means the coach would earn £700.
*Obviously these figures are just spurious for examples sake.
Am I asking too much or being unreasonable to expect a performance related service?
