Using CB Engine to identify Clickbank affiliate products

I have read plenty of threads about article syndication including a fair number about how to choose Clickbank products as an affiliate. Everyoner seems to agree that if you get your choice of affiliate product wrong then all your other good work will be wasted.
Alexa Smith produced an excellent list of criteria for selecting a good CB product here
Given the make or break importance of getting product selection right I wonder if an even more in-depth analysis is worth it.
Does anyone has any experience of using CB Engine to identify good CB products? On its site it claims:
"Our ClickBank search tools allow you to quickly identify overlooked, rising stars and diamonds in the rough niche products so you can boost your affiliate earnings with ClickBank."
It's Pro lifetime version costs $47.
My question is: Does anybody have experience of CB Engine and in your opinion is it worth getting as a starting point for setting up article syndication sites?
