What To Do When You've Forgotten To Prepare Follow-Up-Msgs In Aweber?

I have an Aweber list with some people signed in.

What I don't have is a Follow-Up-Sequence yet.

How would you handle that in a way that:

- already signed-in subscribers don't miss any of the first mails of the interval
- new subscribers get into the follow-up-sequence without waiting for a month or something (this is how old the list is)

    Send out a broadcast email first letting the folks know that you will be providing them with value over the coming weeks.

    Set up the auto-responder messages and rock that list!

    Just add them as normal Aweber is a powerful thing and it will work out like you want it as soon as you start adding follow-up messages.

    @fin: Okay, so when there are people on the list for let's say 30 days ... and I start to write follow-up-messages for days 1 ... 3 ... 5 ...

    Will those people that are already signed in for 30 days still get them?

      When everyone signs up they always have the last message sent which will be your confirmation.

      Whenever you add a message it will always be the next one someone gets. So when you start adding messages, even if people signed up 30 days ago and yesterday, they will start getting the next message after how many x days you set it to.

      Then anyone signing up from now on will start at the beginning of the sequence.

      Yes, they will get the next message in sequence, and the the rest of the follow ups.

      If you have'n't broadcast your list in over a month then be prepared for some unsubscribes

    Just add emails to your sequence. Aweber will automatically start sending message #1, 2, 3 in the order you add them.

    If a subscriber joined 30 days ago your emails will still start at the beginning, and go to all users. Your very first email is a confirmation message and is always there, and is sent immediately. Your 2nd email will be sent after x days. As long as x is less than 30 (duh), everyone on your list starts getting your sequence, even if they've been idle.

    Just for the case I haven't gotten it right yet:

    When I write the first followup-message and set interval to 1 ... than all those people that signed in for the last 30 days will get that mail tomorrow and anybody else will get it the day after their opt-in?

    Contact your autoresponder provider. Most of the major autoresponder companies give you the OPTION of sending the new follow up messages to any of the PREVIOUS subscribers.

    Change the frequency of your email intervals. Add more emails, and create a 2nd opt-in form that can allow you to add subscribers on the 4th or 5th (or whatever) email in your autoresponder. Aweber is a good tool to do this with.

    I personally don't use follow-up emails for the fact that, what I create today may not be relevant tomorrow, so I always do a broadcast to keep current. If I ever use follow-ups, it's not much - usually when someone signs up for a freebie offer
