I decided to start an all in one thread on everything there is to know about blogs. Over the years i have witnessed questions arise from people all over regarding blogs. I myself have had questions and still do for example how can you create an automated blog? and what is the cheapest hosting to hold a broad number of domains? feel free to ask questions or post important articles or threads based on these topic.

    With Automated blog, do you mean a software that create a blog for you copying content from other webs? if so, I don't like that idea, in my opinion, It doesn't worth, also Google don't like that, and this is crucial

      Yes never hear of an automated blog and like to know how it even works, because to me that sounds like a blog dedicated to spamming.

        It works copyng content from other webs, even from other languages and then translating them. The result is an spammy, copied, and a bit incoherent article

    There is NO MAGIC involved in being SUCCESSFUL with blogs. Here are just three key resources to get you going

    #1: Don't write CRAPPY blog posts - blogs are supposed to be PERSONAL! Write accordingly. Put yourself in the picture and brand your blog's separate and special personality with your readers.         Let's say your blog count has increased to a massive number of blogs, how can you keep up writing engaging content, on every single blog at your possession.

    I didn't mean automated as in copy someones work, i meant if there is a way the blog could be on autopilot like a plug in that creates posts based on your niche. I have no intentions on spamming whatsoever.

      Autoblogs exist. There are even WP plugins that do it. They scrape other people's work and SPIN it into "original" posts and post it on your blog. The PROBLEM: this is UNETHICAL. You are making derivatives of other people's work for commercial purposes and you might be leaving yourself open to Lawsuits

      The best way would be to buy ORIGINAL materials based on your niche requirements and mix it with curated content from social media. The key here is that you are COMMENTING on other people's work while focusing on your OWN original materials. This falls under FAIR USE (commentary) and you won't get sued.

      I don't think anyone thought that it was your intention, but, well, that software create posts based on your niches copying others, better try to create your own content, in the case you don't want you could paid someone to do it for you

          I'm sure people have tried "autowriting" software. The problem is the QUALITY of the output.

          As you know (OR SHOULD KNOW) Google is EXTREMELY FOCUSED on content quality nowadays. Good luck with software that 'writes' content on a BROAD RANGE of topics within your niche.

          Google Penguin is all about backlink quality as Panda was about content quality Google Penguin Saved The Internet | TechWench.com and the party isn't over yet.

          Quality website copywriting is CHEAP nowadays at 1 cent to 1.5 cents a word. You can spring that much, right?

    denhinn, well, certainly this could create original content since It isn't a copy paste but this makes some changes to get a different thing, but besides of ethical isuess, there is a problem with the quality since a software can't make an article as good as a person, therefore the ranking on search engines will be affected, so you don't just want content on your site, you want people visit your site, then if you built your site like this way I doubt you'll get traffic from search engines
