Are there any website out there other than this forum which that provides all of the bits and pieces of information for newbies?

I mean, for a newbie, s/he might not know what CPA is, what is list building, what's adsense, and/or how to make a membership site... etc.

Please post up some suggestions here )

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for all the information provided below, a lot of you hinted that this forum and Google are the only places a newbie need. Also that the search function is always useful both in the forum and Google.

However, my question was are there any sites "other than this forum" that provides all of the bits and pieces of information for newbies?

Reason being is that:
Even though this forum has got lots and lots of information enough for a newbie to overload their brain with ideas already, but the information are unorganized here and it's hard to learn often because there are multiple solutions/answers to 1 problem. Especially confusing for a newbie who has just arrived this world with all the information.

The same as Google is that, when you type in "What is ____?" it often come up with irrelevant information OR they are trying to sell you some affiliated products instead of the information you're trying to find out.

Trying to see if there's a site that provides information which is like a library sort of database with all the information organized for someone to look for.

    Dear Jayne

I subscribe to SBI and am active in that forum. I've learnt just heaps in the short time I've been involved with e-commerce - adsense, selecting keywords, CSS, HTML, chikita, dudamobile - I could go on....and most importantly, lengthy discussions about the impact of Google's penalty algorithm's Panda and Penguin, and action steps to take. Have picked up heaps of tips for immediate application.

I've just come upon Warrior Forum and hope to learn even more than from SBI.

onSubie's answer may sound a little facetious due to it's brevity, but it's actually the correct answer in my opinion - or alternatively I would say 'any decent search engine'.

That's where you will find the most useful answers to your questions and by learning to filter the results using your own discretion, you will learn an extremely valuable group of skills on the side.

      EG

      1) How to use search engines to research any subject
      2) How search engines work (or fail)

Those are just two examples (there are more). Both are essential for marketers to learn, but for entirely different reasons - 1) to gain knowledge 2) to get traffic to your own pages

The Warrior Forum is THE forum for internet marketing. If you can't find anything about a topic in the forum then go to Google and type warrior forum and then the topic. That should give you plenty of results.

The warrior forum is definitely the best place to start. I would suggest taking it one step at a time. A very common mistake that Newbies go is that they try to grapple with numerous sources at once and end up in a jumble.

Try to understand the basics first. Warrior forum is sufficient in this regard. When you think that the information you obtain is beoming rdundant then it is a sign that you should probably expand your knowledge database.

The best thing you can learn is HOW to find answers - google search and forum search. "What is CPA" - "what is list building" "what is adsense"
are all searches that, if used, provide ANSWERS.

Yeah if you google those very things you wrote(i.e. what CPA is, what is list building, what's adsense, and/or how to make a membership site... etc.). One by one.
You'll find it also on youtube as it is a great resource. Lastly, if you use the search function in the forum you'll get the answers too. I think someone asked those questions you just asked before!

I agree with everyone - Learning how to search for something is all you need.

But just a piece of advice going forward, don't spend ALL your time reading free e-books, forums, watching videos, and spinning your gears.
Make sure you start to get your hands dirty and start trying to take action.
Even if it's small, you won't really learn anything until you try it.

I've learnt a ton from here and Google/Youtube. The trick is to learn as you go along. If I just sat and read everything without implementation I'd (a) get info overload and (b) forget half of it. So read a little, do a little.

I agree with the other replies posted here. Just go around the various threads of this forum and you'll find most of what you need in terms of tips and other important matters. There are also a lot of e-books available online that you could either get for free or for a minimum fee. Some of these e-books contains very organized guides and tips that will help you start-up well. I can't tell you exactly where to get the copies but I'm sure you'll be able to find them in no time. :-) Just search well and read the reviews before acquiring, if possible.

I found almost all the answers i was looking at the warrior forum, this is a great place to start, you can build relationship with other forum's member and ask for their help. I also use google and youtube sometimes, it is easy to use but be careful with information overload, google can give you a lot of information, you have to be selective.

I think Google, and also warrior forum. The problem is that it takes time to learn and there is equal amount of bad information out there as well as good sometimes even on here.
It takes a bit of patience and willing to sift through the crap to find the real helpful stuff. I am learning as many others are through trial and error after reading other peoples advice on what to do.

    Hi Ellie Days!!!

Just Click On The Warrior Forum Logo At The Very Top Of This Page!!!

Then, Check Out The Topics By Discussion!

Go To The "Traffic Discussions" Section To Learn About CPA Offers, CPV/PPV.

You Can Also Find Out About SEO and Adwords!!!

Oh!!! But You were looking for the ShortCut right!

    Sorry.... I almost forgot.

    1. Get Yourself A Really High Converting Squeeze Page With An "Irresistible Offer"
Where??? Try A PLR offer: Here's Whole List Of Them!

    2. Take Your Opt-ins to A Download Page With Video Of Yourself Explaining The Benefits Of Joining Your Newsletter .. or whatever.

    3. Create A Back-End Funnel That Complements What They Are Interested In.

    4. Send A Much Targeted Traffic As You Can To That Squeeze Page.

Oh... But You don't know how to get good traffic. You could try SEO... But that can take a while if you do it the way that most marketers do (which I don't). Or you could try "Paid Traffic".
This can be expensive if you don't do your tracking. You can go with a "cheap & dirty" Bit.ly FREE account or BudURL when you get profitable. BUT YOU MUST TRACK YOUR RESULTs to know where your buyer are coming from.

Where to get all that expensive traffic? Try SiteScout or if you can get a recommendation... TrafficVance.
Neither of these is cheap... but they are the best traffic sources for CPV/PPV ... etc.

    5. Keep using PLR giveaways to keep their interest... "and open your emails."

Rinse and repeat for various marketing and sales topics.

Good Luck!!! And remember to check out the discussions before you pop for a WSO!

Learn and take action. Focus on one or two things until you get result. Don't just keep learning. Get your hand dirty to figure it out. Hands on is always the best teacher. Some Newbies are not persistent enough to go through it. Some of them only tried for few months. They give up. Lay blame to us. Say we are Scammer. I am wondering are they going to be successful if they try other business opportunity. Lay blame is a silent killer to stop you to be a successful person. Most of the internet Guru success after 2 years. They don't give up, hand on, figure it out, fine tune it, etc.
