Hey all,

Working on building my list and surfing some solo ads.
Has anyone found any legit solo ads on fiverr?

$5 is definitely low for any kind of solo ad so I figured it would be hard to find one worthwhile.
But there are a bunch of people who offer the +$5-$20 deals, maybe one of those?

i have seen quite a few solo ads on fiverr when ive been surfing through but to be honest i would stay well clear

if someone is willing to sell you a solo ad for only $5 then the quality of there list must be complete garbage

no one in there right mind will sell you a good quality solo ad for $5 if they value there list , it doesnt matter what they tell you

remember, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" ;-)

This was my thought EXACTLY! Even though you're spending $5, it most likely will be a TOTAL waste of your $5.

You get what you pay for on Fiverr, yes, - but that does not mean it will be terrible, or we wouldn't use it for some many other things in Internet marketing!

I will tell you the truth on this one from my experience as a one time Fiverr Solo Seller. For some time (not currently active) I had a gig saying that I would promote a solo to 60,000 people who had signed up to receive Internet Marketing or Make Money opportunities - guaranteed spam free.

It was simple, they gave me the $5, I put their email swipe into my lifetime membership of a credit mailer, and hit send. Depending on the quality of their swipe, they got hundreds and even thousands of hits. Some, however, got only 20-30 hits. Some made sales, some got sign ups, some did not.

I made money - hundreds of bucks - and got rave reviews. I also contacted the BUYERS and advised them that if they wanted a more responsive mailing I would sell them a solo to my own list. I have built up some very profitable relationships through this route.

The key is honesty. If people asked me, I was always up front about the fact that I was mailing to a safe-list. I was simply saving them the need to view 60,000 ads before sending their ad out.

Why did I stop? Because, believe it or not, it was time consuming and making $4 at a time for this was still a bit of a pain when I knew there were more lucrative methiods out there.

The bottom line. Don't expect your Fiverr solo to go to anything other than a safe-list. Safe-lists can work, but they are not as effective as private lists.

I don't think it hurts to try. I had used safelists and sent solo ads and they worked for me. I guess it depends on what you are trying to sell the customer and what type of niche the list is. I don't think $5 is much and who knows you just might get your investment back and more. It's just like with any gig on Fiverr..I've used some and had no results while other ones I had better results. The ones that don't bear fruit I just remember to avoid next time.

It will hurt if you pollute your list.

I'd suggest that anyone who uses fiverr for solos exercise caution running a test only with a fresh list.

That's not to say you can't get score quality with Fiverr but a solo service is one such thing that can wear into a spent state especially if the seller is pumping them out daily.

I'm sorry but that was from my experience. I think that you have to take a risk and if you have $5 to use then good for you. My business and my recommendation does not correlate to the quality of our business. Have you yourself used the solo ad service to be calling it garbage? I simply said it doesn't hurt to try because it is basically the same as safe lists which I have used and made back my investment and more. I did my research first to find out which safe lists were the most responsive just like you would do with Fiverr solos which is basically (in my opinion) using the same method. My business is about researching highly targeted leads for certain niches which does not involve safe lists. They are completely different marketing methods for different niches.

Why does it matter what sort of relationship they have with their list?

Surely it only matter what relationship you have with your own list and if you do get a new signup from a fiverr gig then how you build your relationship from that point on.

Fiverr is just that............a fiver spent..........this being the case the risk is minimal. If you get a few hits then great. If you don't then well........it was only a fiver. There won't be any negative effects from trying some fiverr gigs out apart from the obvious one of possibly wasting a fiverr.

You also may find some gems on the site. Don't forget if there were no good gigs on fiverr then you would not have heard the site mentioned so many times on WF.

I have come across two great writers who i have been using for years and also some great little backlinking gigs which i use to backlink my 2nd or 3rd tier pages.

I sell a legitimate solo on Fiverr from a list I built. It's only been a couple months and the response has been quite good. For me, it's a good chance for buyers to sample my list, which leads to return customers. For buyers, it's a good opportunity to test out a new offer at a low price, maybe even get a sale or two. Although you might not get a great sample size off $5, there are Extra Gigs that allow for more clicks.

On Fiverr, it's not so much the money involved, but rather lead generation and building a relationship with your buyers.

If the money is in the list
Then good list is also in the money.

It means you have to spend money to build list on solo ads at the beginning.
Throughout your life you have to invest on business and list building together. Can't be done one and the other one later.

Fiverr is an easy solution for easy outsourcing. List building doesn't belong to this group.

Look around warriorforum for great solo seller. Or pm me for suggestions. I'll refer you to some best sellers.

I assume the quality of those solo ads would be terrible... I would also question the source of those subscribers or even a complete list... however, it doesn't hurt you to try since it's only $5...

Also, I would say there are some better ways to use Fiverr gigs... Maybe you would get better results by purchasing gigs related to blasting your message to thousands of Twitter followers and Facebook fans...

If this makes sense to you, you show respect for your future subscribers by getting them from a better place. Well as far as Solo Ads are concerned. Fiverr are excellent for building decent links, many things. But as the saying goes. 'horses for courses.'

I don't get it. A person signed up for a list, the list owner sells some small solos on fiverr, and I want to try it out, so that person likes my ad enough to click through, then likes my squeeze enough to sign up for my list, after which I do my best to deliver good free content and good offers.

Where in that mutually voluntary experience did I ever disrespect that person? Are they supposed to be insulted that I only bought a small number of clicks, or I got them on fiverr, as if it was a cesspool? I don't see how it affects them, how they would know or care how many clicks I bought, from what site, or how I am delivering any less value than I would be had I bought 1000 clicks from someone on this forum.

I think the consensus is that almost all solo ads on fiverr are very low quality and that we'd be better off looking for a gig that could get our message in front of an audience in a different way.

On fiverr mainly is safe list seems people only click links to get the 'credits' (I know I do). they allow one email per week for free users,so it's useless .why not try adfly trust me this is the exact method I used to build one of my list and it works.

They are usually sent off to safe-lists as previously stated where people are more interested on clicking on as much websites as possible. lol.

Considering at how many people are using bots for traffic these days, Fiverr's a prime target for Blackhat members and many others looking to try and make a quick buck. If you wan't anything close to getting a good result, then you need to take your business more seriously.

Daegan Smith recently mentioned about his services on a PL webinar and although it's not cheap it looks as if he can really deliver. Many genuine Solo Ad users around, just don't head to Fiverr otherwise it's a complete gamble and then it might be good if some people do sign up... YAY lol but useless if they don't convert or take any action.

A non responsive list is useless, so it's your choice whether you want to gamble on a gig, or find someone elsewhere who can actually tell you how responsive their list is currently, what they respond to better etc...

$5-$20 sounds like a way too low for solo ad. Having said that, you can find sponsor ads for $15-20 for a list of ~5K easily. But in any case, I'd check their order history and read the fivver users' reviews carefully before trying anyone.

Speaking of solo ads, I bought a bunch of emails from Fiverr and guess what, they were all scraped by bots. There goes my $4 bucks + $1 for Fiverr. Fiverr's happy, cause they're making 20% commissions. But good lesson learned. Stay clear from buying leads too.

I would try it. What do you have to lose - $5? No biggie. I get tons of stuff done by Fiverr and have so far got high quality work back. Some people on Fiverr just really need the doe so they're willing to do it for $5. I would feel like they had a better list if they offered it for $20 or something like that. It also depends on how big his or her list is. Anyway, there is my 2 cents.

I agree with you; I might be missing something, but I don't understand all the dire warnings about polluting your list, etc. Even if you got some freebie seekers, you could always cull people who don't buy anything after a time you decide on, so I really don't see the big deal.

Also, Fiverr isn't just broke or desperate people; many people use it for lead generation. And Mal, for example, who posted above and has a Fiverr solo in his sig, sells tiny packages of 15 clicks for $5, and cheaper clicks if you get gig extras. It's the age old, successful strategy of giving people a low barrier to entry so they get a taste of your services for little risk. Then they might become bigger buyers if they're happy.

I really don't get all the negativity about the concept, even though I believe there could be many bad sellers there, but that's true anywhere; we always have to do our due diligence. To think there couldn't be any good ones just because you heard some bad stories seems absurd to me. I will probably give Mal's gig a try.

      Cheers; have a great weekend!

I have to agree with most of the comments here. I always test out every advertising medium I come across, and I go back and retest periodically. On all of the tests I have done on Fiverr ads the return was awful. Didn't matter if it was a solo, safelist, twitter, facebook, whatever. Poor quality. I usually look around Warrior Forum or go to Safe-Swaps to find solos, they cost a lot more but based on a $ per lead they are less expensive than Fiverr. A good list will bring in lots of leads, on Fiverr I have only managed just a trickle. Maybe in the future, who knows, I will test again next year, at least testing is cheap on Fiverr. But so far I would not put any real money into it. I have had the best luck with quality solos and pretty good luck with Bing advertising, plus some luck with ExactSeek. From my tests I can see how classifieds could work well but I have yet to find a good way to do that efficiently. If anyone has any suggestions...

That is interesting; didn't see your post before. Maybe they are all bad; I haven't tested any yet. I wonder though; did you only use ones that had lots of good feedback and little or no negatives? That is what I would consider the core of due diligence in this case. Did you try Mal's?

Again, stay away from fiverr on that part. If you want to find real genuine solo ad sellers, look up from google. There are ton of very good ones. There are also dedicated facebook groups for that.

Think back, If the Fiverr really capable in doing solo ads and succeed it, do they still need to working in Fiverr?

Not everyone with a gig has it because they need the $4. Lots of smart marketers use Fiverr as a lead generation tool, and a tool for gathering rave reviews, which is a pretty cool strategy when you think about it.

Some sellers collect a ton of rave reviews for an expensive service; the gigs they sell give a small taste of something much larger, but the small taste is worth a lot more than $5, so they take the raves they easily generate, and use them to sell high priced services; nobody knows the raves are from people who didn't pay the high price, and they aren't lying; they are genuine comments about the great service, but gratitude tends to fuel more extravagant comments.

And of course, if the service is good enough, some of the $5 clients turn into regular full price clients.

In the case of Mal above, and like many such cheap deals, they are just a tiny sample of the normal service; what he sells for $5 is 15 clicks. Not that hard to believe that someone would want to find regular clients by giving them a tiny sample for cheap; it is one of the older forms of marketing; a variation on free; not quite free, so the seller makes a few bucks, but close enough that the buyer feels little fear about the risk.

when you have $5 to spend, never waste it is fiverr solo ads. a worthy solo ads worth at least $50 and more. You can trial and fail as much as you want, but I wouldn't do that because I already know some people who scam you by faking their list. I'd rather spend that bucks on adf.ly, this is a valid options too.

I can't really agree with the people saying it's just $5, so why not give it a shot. The only winners in this case would be Fiverr and the seller. As a buyer you're not going to get much out of it.
This is like saying buy a lottery ticket, and hope you win something. Sure a few people might get a return, but most would have wasted their money. This isn't a good way of building a business.

Not to mention what on earth would the incentive be for the seller. They get around $3.92 from each order. If their list is actually worth anything and can produce conversions, then they don't need to sell solo ads for less than $4 of profit. Sending their own offers would make way more money. Even without your own product, there isn't exactly a lack of good affiliate offers.

Fiverr does have some good uses. Outsourcing some basic graphic or writing work is worthwhile.

Has anyone found any legit solo ads on fiverr?

$5 is definitely low for any kind of solo ad so I figured it would be hard to find one worthwhile.
But there are a bunch of people who offer the +$5-$20 deals, maybe one of those?
I wouldn't bother mate. The quality of the list would be saturated already.

I wouldn't trust a "list" for $5. Sounds like garbage to me and there are FTC implications to consider too.

I spend between $350-$550 bucks on solo ads every month or between 0.85 to .98 cents per click. Is it worth it? - you will definitely get with the money you paid for. Cheap traffic is just scary these days!
