This might piss them off, but it's EASY MONEY!!

Some time ago I was in a conversation with a subscriber who has been in his market (NOT IN THE IM NICHE) for some time, but has NEVER build a list. Now I know this person makes money using emails and subscribers from the other people in the market place. ( his "competition" so to speak)

So I asked him...

What and how exactly he does it? And this is what he told me...

He simply buys solo ads from his competition and
instead of sending the traffic a squeeze page, he sends it to and affiliate product.
Now being intriguing, I continued asking questions, like:

Wouldn't that just piss off the people your buying solo ads from? And he said, nope because he works all that before he buys the solo ad.

Also he targets people who aren't any good at selling something to their list. So the money he gives them is typically the most money they made from their email lists.

Now he makes his money on the difference of affiliate products sold minus the cost of a solo ad.

Too me, it brings me back to the days of the "Google Cash" method. (PPC direct linking affiliate product)

Now to the reason why I'm making this thread, I was thinking about creating a product around this concept. But before I get to work, I would like to know how the market feels about the concept, or if your a list owner AND have never made any real money from your list, would you consider mailing someone's else's affiliate link for the cost of a solo ad?

Think it truly depends on the offer as regular followers might get annoyed with the mailings and would not want to burn the list for others when it is more valuable using it for myself.

However, there are plenty that already advertise they will do this for their list and maybe you can do a course around that. It is easy, inexpensive way to advertise and to get to a wide variety of people pretty quickly. Good luck!

He isn't using the same list owner, this is to prevent the list from getting annoyed and so that he doesn't burn out the lists. They way he explained it, is you don't need to be in any one niche, you could be in the golf niche one week, and the next be in forex trading the next.

Assuming your product is good quality:

I think anyone worth their salt would decline your offer and simply go for the standard rev-share model. It would be obvious to the list owner that this would be more profitable.

As you mentioned in the OP, the guy you had this conversation with was specifically targeting marketers who are naive and inexperienced in regards to email marketing.

You're going to have to find the same type of people in order for your plan to work.
