What types of PLR do you look for?

I'm currently in the process of compiling a few PLR eBooks and other PLR packages, mostly in the IM niche.

I'm trying to basically get a grasp on what PLR buyers look for in PLR stuff like this? Also, what options and rights attract you to snag up PLR packages (such as editable content, editable graphics, etc).

Any ideas or comments would be helpful. Thanks!

    I run a resell rights membership myself and I personally focus on the quality of the content and of the sales page. I don't want to be messing around rewriting the sales page and altering the content if possible and I like PLR content that flows nicely to upsell a related affiliate product. I personally rework PLR and turn them into something of a 'wow' factor afterwards.

      So, rather than just an eBook, you're looking for the whole schbang - Salesletter, graphics pack, etc.?

      I usually don't use the included sales page, but will take information from it and use on my own.. I think the product appearance makes a huge difference in sales conversions.. on PLR I will sometimes create my own box or ebook cover... cuz some just don't look too hot, but they have some great content which is what your buyers will appreciate..

        So, you suggest that all PLR products should come complete with a ready-made eBook cover? Do most product creators of PLR give away the actual .PSD file for easy editing as well?

      I personally never use the graphics and sales page that come with PLR products - when I use PLR I like to make it entirely my own so that even other marketers don't know it was originally PLR. Having said that though I think graphics and a sales page do add to the 'perceived' value even if they're not used.

    I guess you would definately want a sales page to accompany an eBook, but you'd prpbably want to rewrite it though wouldn't you? unless you weren't bothered about getting any organic traffic.

    Looks like it's pretty typical to offer a full blown sales package, along with the eBook.

    What type of price points would you set on packages like this? $67 to $97? Or more?

    If you can provide an eBook with sales page that will sell, and all I did was to add my name and order button then you've got my attention .

    I would simply submit it to ClickBank and then start working on the affiliate resources, such as autoresponders, banners, blog posts etc so that affiliates (especially ppc affiliates) can start promoting it.

    I'll tell you why I place so much emphasis on the sales page, not just sales copy, but the whole presentation, is because there's more 'product' in the sales page than there is in the actual 'product'

    Take a look at the top ClickBank products that are being promoted right now that product vendors and ppc affiliates are making $1000+/day with in sales, earth4energy, faps, fatloss4idiots etc.. they'll all heavily branded and have excellent sales pages and products (video training, ebooks, both or otherwise).

    If you had a cap on the number of members in your membership, I'd be happy to pay $250-$1000+ for one FULL product and not only that, you'd be the first membership worth staying with for life.

    It's definitely a case of quality over quantity.

    One more thing, I can tell you why there are no memberships like that at the moment, and most likely never will, is because there is too much money to be made selling it to the targetted niche and product vendors will seriously loose out seeing all their hard work scattered around the internet like cheapo resell rights products you see floating around today..
