Writing Service Provision Help Request

Hi All,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, first thread I've ever started.

When I have time to spend on something other than studying for my degree I like to write for money online. When MTURK was still worth it I did thousands of SEO type articles on there and have found some work on Elance in the past.

I recently had a guy on Elance torpedo my 5* feedback rating by marking a job as complete when it wasn't in order to give me a 1* review which has basically made it very hard to land projects on there.

I'm sure a lot of you guys have hired writers in the past so I was wondering where you would typically go to hire them?

  • I typically use Freelancer.com or oDesk.com - but don't just throw away your profile at Elance first without getting in touch with their staff and explaining what happened.

  • I guess creating profiles on other sites and building a reputation from scratch may well be a good idea.

    I take your point about Elance, I still have a 3.7 so I'll probably just build it back up. I'm going to get active on the sites you mentioned, thanks for that.
  • I always go to iwriter.com. Gives me full control over what I want and what I get. Now I have chosen writers in iwriter.com and I only give jobs to them.
